One of the highlights of the residential side of the ruins. Definitely worth a photo-op or two, at the very least!

This particularly beautiful house is the only one on Delos whose owners are known. The two erected statues of themselves in the entry of their home with inscriptions identifying them as Cleopatra and her husband Disocurides. They were wealthy Athenians from the Demos of Myrrinous in Attica. The original statues are in the museum on Delos; copies can be seen...

When our cruise ship anchored at Mykonos, we particularly wanted to see the ruins at Delos.
