We took the night tour Tuesday 7th Feb and had a wonderful experience! Our tour guide Michael was absolutely fantastic and took the time to answer all our questions and ensure we enjoyed the tour by informing us about interesting facts about the animals and letting us feed them too! It was a fun and exciting thing to do and... More

Not nearly as good as the reviews we had read. Saw one koala, no kangaroos and a few illusive wallabies. Very sparse, not particularly beautiful and lacking in the wildlife department. We were in and out of there in 45 minutes. I wouldn't bring people back here again. More

We are sorry you did not enjoy your visit to Moonlit Sanctuary. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but I don't think it is fair to describe our landscape as "very sparse". As for wildlife I'm surprised you saw so little. In our visitor centre we have 5 different types of snake, 5 different types of lizard, three... More

One of the most intimate, friendly and enjoyable wildlife parks we have been to. We went on a Friday and it felt like we had the whole park to ourselves (no screaming kids) and you can feed the wallabys, see other native Australian animals up close and personal (can pat a koala for $10 extra). Highly recommend going! More

We went as part of a kids birthday party. Easy to drive past without even realising it was there. Initial impression is that it's really small, but there is actually a fair amount there. Great for the smaller kids.... they had an absolute ball - probably the best part for most of them was feeding the little wallabies. The people... More

We paid for the night tour out of interest. Fantastic it was the first time I'd seen a wombat actually up and about and the Tasmanian devil was very hyper. The barking owl was the highlight for me ( woof woof) More

Loving on the peninsula for many years I didn't even know this place existed. What a really great place to get up real close to the animals. Night walk is just the best. More

What an amazing adventure! Loved being there in the dark with all these great creatures of the night! My absolute favourite was the Tassie Devils. It was quite eerie standing next to such animals as they ran around their enclosure staring at us. When they were fed, the noise of crunching bones and their screeching at each other was really... We fed animals elsewhere on our Australian trip but nowhere else were there so many or of such variety. When we first arrived we entered a field and were given a handful of feed each. Then about fifteen wallabies and grey kangaroos emerged silently out of the night. We also fed the Tawny Frogmouths...they do bite...but not hard ;) You... More

This was a very exciting way to see Australian animals in a somewhat natural setting. As a short-stay travelers we could not hike or go to natural sites, yet we were not willing to go to a zoo. This tour provided exactly what we were looking for - seeing/ touching animals without feeling too much as "tourists". Yes, wallabies were... More
