We have visited Old WallsVineyard for the last 4 years after my 'other half' was given a gift voucher for the vineyard tour. The tour was fantastic, as was the provided lunch. We were so impressed we have 'rented' a couple of vines and make the effort to travel on a 250 mile round trip to collect the resultant bottles... More

Bought this as a gift we chose a glorious day to visit in September just before harvesting started. The vineyard is in a gorgeous setting overlooking the river valley, and we were welcomed with a spectacularly good cup of coffee before the tour started. The owner gave a very comprehensive talk, explaining everything from how he got into farming, to... More

We came here because of a Xmas gift. A little unsure of what to expect but it was fantastic - out did our expectations. We thought the whole thing was fascinating - everyone was hanging on to every word Ken uttered. And the lunch was fab too. OK, the wine was average at best, but the experience was great, we... More

Good location but the food is terrible. We had a cream tea which were the cheapest nastiest scones I've ever tasted - not home cooked these were definitely bought from a cash and carry store, they tasted like stale sponge cake! The cafe could also do with a thorough clean. There was a huge cobweb spanning one of the windows... More

The whole enterprise - café, tour, vineyard - appears to be a family run business. The tour was fascinating: it effectively tells you how to go about setting up your own vineyard from scratch. But the talks - about 3 hours in all - are looooooooong. One of the group actually nodded off. And did we really need to know... More

The vineyard is in a fantastic location and worth a visit for this alone if the weather is nice enough to sit out. The wine is quite nice and we like to support local businesses such as this, so we visited a couple of times whilst on holiday. On our first visit we ordered the 'selection of nibbles' for £2.95,... What a great experience. Don't expect a rushed tour as our group were truly captivated for over an hour by the owner, Ken, telling us the history of the development of the vineyard whilst sat in the vineyard. A good tour of the vines with explainations of how the different vine varieties reacted through the season. This was followed by... More

We had a lovely day, having a vineyard tour and tasting, followed by relaxing glass of wine and a tasty lunch including the most amazing cream tea! Highly Recommended! The tour was informative and interesting, with some beautiful and unique wines. A lovely family run business, in a beautiful Devonshire location!

My husband and father took the vineyard tour and had an absolutely fantastic time-the man was brilliant and we would highly recommend the tour. Mum and I used the restaurant- extremely rude staff, cheap and nasty ingredients (eg. Red jam with no pips/fruit/flavour). We had dry, cold, hard jacket potatoes with only just enough filling for half the potato and... More
