Great beach if you are traveling with small children or with not so great swimmers. Water was extremely calm. There is a pool inside the beach. A lane created pool has been placed inside the water. An amazing and interesting concept. A must see.

I found a starfish! The water was calm enough for me to see at least 15 feet deep so I had fun. :)))

We just returned from a week in St Martin and were looking for lovely, calm little beaches for my 4 year old granddaughter to play on... What a find in Le Galion--very shallow, beautiful blue water, with rafts anchored just about 50 feet from shore for the kids to jump off of. Great little beach bar/food shack on the beach,... More

Our family of four, including children ages 12 and 15, visited this beach on Thursday, June 4th. We arrived around 10am and found we practically had it to ourselves! There is a restaurant called Tropical Wave right on the beach that rents non-motorized water equipment as well as chairs and umbrellas. There is a sand volleyball court and also an... More

We didn't stay at Le Galion Beach, as there were several families, and my husband and I were travelling without our own children so were looking for a less family-oriented beach. The water was super calm, a gorgeous turquoise hue, and looked like a great place for little ones to swim in the ocean safely. We had also heard that... More

This was an excellent beach for a family with small children. The water was very calm and clear and the beach area was nicely shaded with trees, which provided much more cover than a simple umbrella. This is NOT a beach for snorkeling and you will not find much in the water in terms of marine life. Chairs and umbrellas... More

Don't go!!!! We went there a few days ago, beautiful looking, rented chairs and umbrella, and then went in the water. Big mistake. Came out within five minutes, there were broken beer bottles everywhere, and we mean everywhere. Not little pieces, heads broken off and large chards of the remaining bottom, just there for anyone to step on. Children running... More

Great place to swim wit young kids. Water is warm and clean and beautiful. We were surprised to see this year that they built a roped off swimming pool of sorts. Nice idea.
