Cloughjordan House sits on 8 acres of lands which includes a former walled garden. The Cookery school is Sarah Baker's passion, coming from her Argentinian father's love of fresh, "real" food. Her creativity is a product of years of experimenting, combining flavours and travel, combined with some well-loved staples from home. The Cookery School is currently providing hugely popular educational tours for students, focusing on a farm to fork experience where students harvest, cook and eat. The school also runs a number of foodie activities including pop up dinners, special guest chefs and bespoke cookery classes. « less

We has the pleasure of winning an overnight stay here through Glenisk. It was absolutely fabulous. The house itself is so charming and well looked after. The cookery class was so much fun, we enjoyed every minute. Thank you Sarah, Peter and Coleen!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have a week-end retreat at Peter and Sarah's incredible 400 year old Irish mansion. We shared dinner with their family including delicious wine from their cellar. There was a festival in town, along with an antique show in their Ballroom, PLUS cooking demonstrations in their bright, modern cookery school. We were able... More

We have just returned from a family get together (12 of us) to celebrate my father's 80th birthday at Cloughjordan House. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Sarah and Peter and their children: Julie, Holly and Sam and their three gorgeous dogs: Ritchie, Rupert and Louis! We ate here on Friday night... More
