We found this beach by chance, what a lovely calm yet wild area to relax in. It is worth a visit the coast is wonderful . The surf is also good and there was a lifeguard working when we were there. Great spot. Parking £2 unless national trust member, then it's free., or untill the parking man goes home.

Much quieter than the main Bude beach and far nicer. Within 5 mins you can get away from the crowds and enjoy the rugged scenery of the cliffs and its natural geology.

If you are active and don't mind a good walk, to a pebbled beach, from the car park you will be rewarded with fine views, great surf and sand when the tide ebbs.

This beach is well hidden and the parking is free for national trust members. There is a lovely cafe which has the usual treats. Also there are some great scenic walks you can do. If you have trouble walking up and down steep path, watch out as this beach has a steep path to the beach.

Lovely clean sandy beach, with good rock features at low tide which make an ideal wind break. Access is cheeky for able bodied adults, let alone anyone else but if you can make it down then it is great! Good for surfing and excellent for bodyboarding! Also RNLI monitored so nice and safe also!

Sandymouth is a beautiful wide, sandy beach with big waves and rockpools to keep children interested. It's a little difficult to access with quite an uneven steep downhill walk from the carpark (and uphill on the way back of course!) but is definitely worth it. Remember to pack drinks and a picnic as there are no facilities once down on... More

As everyone else has said on accessibility, we walked the lovely coastal path from bude after reading good reviews. Beach was picturesque but overcrowded, pebbly and the cafe really poor, overall enjoyed the walk far more than the destination so headed back to bude.
