Well, after arriving 1 hour before we should have we met Alex (The Owner) and as our pitch was available he showed us to our site. He was amazing great guy. We pitched up and soon learnt that this little 27 pitch site has everything. Great shower & toilets in a new block built this winter 2014-15. Wash up areas,... More

Live 20 minutes from this and only discovered it this weekend. A good cheap row up the river. A nice coffee and relax afterwards. Food looked good and we will be back for breakfast. Soon.

Boat trip up to Bodiam Castle was ok but could have been so much more if some "interesting facts" could have been supplied along the route to make the trip more interesting. Name of the river wasn't even given! Nice Captain, very personable and funny but could have made so much more of the trip.

We arrived at the boathouse and were met by a very helpful and friendly student. We booked our trip on the river and sat and had a drink in the cafe ares. We chatted to other very friendly students who were working there. The boat trip was relaxing and most enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend parking your car here, taking... More

We camped at Bodiam Boating Station for 5 nights during the May half term 2015. It is a lovely campsite, with a great new café on the site. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The campsite is laid out really well around the edges of the field, leaving a lovely open area in the centre for the children... More

What a great day out, kayaking and splashing in the river with the kids and then sunshine, smooth reggae and cocktails at the Lime Wharf Cafe. We will definitely come back to camp at their campsite too!

A lovely morning going up the river to Bodium Castle. Went on the 10:30 ferry and had perfect amount of time at the NT castle returning at 1:45. We were able to take a pushchair folded up too and both our young boys loved it, the older one was very excited that he had steered the boat! Came back on... More

Wonderful wonderful afternoon spent here. Phil took us out on a trip to the castle. Super friendly helpful guy who really made the trip. Kids loved having a turn steering. Lunch was great - it felt like we were at the beach - great vibe. And then an hour of kayaking. Really would recommend this place to friends. All at... More

We chartered a beautiful 1920's wooden boat, The Irene, to take us to Bodium after a wonderful lunch at the boatyard café. It was a special birthday treat for an 80yr old and it couldn't have been better, other than the Rother was a bit like the Bay of Biscay due to the wind! But we were undercover so it... More

We would like to say a big thank you to the owners and all of the staff at Bodium Boating Station for making our 3 night stay so enjoyable. The campsite is set in beautiful countryside and the facilities are immaculate. Our 2 young children were able to play safely at all times & had the time of their lives.... More
