New venue, keen to attract local interest. Evelyn Conlon and William Wall gave readings at an open conference there. Spectacular art space.

The building is well designed and is worth a visit. The exhibition that was on when we visited was OK (not great) and to be honest we would not have visited it if we had to pay entry fees to see it.

Was at the Carlow Panto with the kids and it was fantastic. Bringing adults back to being a kid with the jokes and the jibes is one thing, but keeping the kids of today entertained also is another. This did both in my household. The venue itself is beautiful with the exhibits on display and friendly staff. For food, Lennons... More

The GBS is a state of the art theatre providing excellent nights out, providing for national touring theatre, as well as local theatre groups; music nights out, and many and vaired social events. Run by a great team of dedicated staff.

The food here is second to none with a great athmosphere and brilliant staff. The owners are very visible and hands on and attention to detail is perfection!

Have been there many times now. The latest visit was last Friday night for the Jack L gig in the GB Shaw Theatre. Had a delicious meal in Lennons beforehand. All in all a great evening out.

After today's visit for lunch, I have mixed feelings about this place. It was my first time at this restaurant. I went along with my son. They don't have the KIDS MENU! At least I didn't get. I went in before the three gentlemen in suits, I found a table, we sat down and waited for the menu. Because the... More

Great place , not sure if it fits in amongst the old buildings. But that's modern day planning in Carlow/Ireland . Good restaurant , but can be a bit pricey. In all lovely garden landscapes . Nice place for a lovely walk to contemplate life's little problems.

The staff at the G B Shaw theatre could not have been more helpful. There is a row of seats at the front with an extra wide space to allow wheelchair access. At a gig last Saturday night there were three of us in wheelchairs and it was easy to get to the spaces where seats had been removed for... More
