I didn^t like it at all! Go there if you are a huge fan of science-fiction otherwise don^t go! For me, it was really boring but I can bet you^ll like it if you like BD. Otherwise, it^s not worth a look !

I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi but my partner enjoys it. The temporary exhibition when we went was on superheroes and comics and was very enjoyable. Lots of cool memorabilia as well as interesting contemporary art inspired by comics and superheroes. It's only small but worth taking the time to visit if the permanent exhibition appeals to you.

I stumbled upon this museum while walking around in Yverdon and loved it! It's fairly small, but very neat. It's a welcome change from the historic museums and sites, which are great too, but it's nice to try something new. I enjoyed the paintings and sculptures of aliens and space heroes!

If you are not you might struggle. Definitely for sci-fi buffs only! Books on display go back years and fans will recognise most of them. Excellent exhibition on at the moment on the Russian film 'Stalker'. Enjoyable visit.

We visit the museum each time they have a new exhibit with ours kids, it's a fantastic way to make them think "out of the box". In addition they have workshops for kids on irregular basis; you have to be quick to register, but it is well worth the effort. The new permanent exhibit is extremely well done and instructive... Undoubtedly the most serious and yet funniest place to learn or to know more about SF and the imaginary traveling! If You make a stop at Yverdon-les-Bains, for its well known thermals or its marketplace, don't miss the "Maison d'Ailleurs" (transl. "House of Elsewhere"). Stunning exhibitions (temporary or permanent), books and the Jules Vernes space deserve your visit. You may... More

The permanent exhibition is very small so a lot will depend on the current temporary exhibition. The gaming exhibition we visited was extremely well done, informative, interactive and entertaining even for the non-gaming enthusiasts in the group.

The permanent collection is largely devoted to Jules Verne. While the building and collection are impressive, it is all largely locked up. Most of the museum is devoted to a temporary exhibition centering around one theme. The most recent was " Gaming". Although not a subject my family was at all interested in (we went for the SF) it was... More

Sure that tour interest will highly depends on the exhibition. Make your choice. The ones I have seen there were just magic in a dreaming atmosphere

What a great place! We were lucky to visit when Stepane Halleux exhibition was on (finishes mid feb) and it was truly amazing. The staff made us very welcome and went out of their way to get the guide to the temporary exhibition in English. Over 3 floors and across a bridge to the Jules Vernes part where there is... More
