Villa Le Lac is very small but full of big ideas. The views of the lake that Le Corbusier framed are very clever: from the ribbon window and layout of the rooms to the window in the wall facing the lake. We could spot this little house from across the lake because of its unique composition. It was inspiring because... More

What a romantic & picturesque place! I love Vevey and its lake! Wonderful and peaceful.... I lived for almost a year in such a lovely small city. I adore the cold water where you can enjoy swimming (in some areas). Highly recommended. Cheers,

Only takes a short while to visit this interesting site. Entrance price CHF12.00 per adult. Fabulous location and great insight to how two old people lived simply in the 1920's. Amazing feature is the long ribbon window that looks out on Lake Leman and the beautiful mountains beyond. Only visit if you have transport as it is a little on... More

Visiting Le Corbusier's private buildings and appartments is a good experience as one can see his theory at work and that he also lived as he wrote others should live... The small home for his mother is a worthwile visit. The garden view of the lake itself pays for the visit...
