A Unique Museum

Interesting, informative, well laid out. An unexpected different kind of museum. Great for kids, interesting for adults.

A unique food museum with interesting interactive exhibits. If you can speak French, there is a cooking class that you can sign up.

The museum is fascinating, and the food workshop are well done, and you get to take what you prepared home! How cool is that! After the visit you have to go to visit the city of Vevey, which is beautiful!

If you like food and want to know the back story on cookware, culinary techniques, history of consumption etc... then this place is for you! There are several interactive exhibits to keep kids and less interested parties engaged. They have a café where they have been featuring a different cuisine from around the world each month. When we came they... More

I don't think that this establishment deserves to be 2nd place in Tripadvisor for things to do in Vevey. It is expensive at 12 CHF entrance fee. It is very basic and does not live up to the blurb. It's all about Nestle really and they only pay lip service to putting things in the English language. There are three... More

Go there. You will find interesting museum, nice thematic foods and the possibility to cook yourself, under a cook supervision.

A waste of 12chf. It was very uninspiring. And boring. I was expecting more interactivity around food. Food cannot be this boring. Just a lot of nutritional info. Basic info about cooking over history. Stuff that u already know.

We have visited this museum several times, initially with our children who enjoyed the interative displays, and more recently by ourselves. We find there is still plenty for us to learn. It is spread over several floors of an old house and one can get lovely lake views from higher floors. There is a café and restaurant on the ground... More
