Beautiful turquoise coloured lake close to Grand Hotel Flims (2min drive) and perfect for a 45min stroll or great swim in summer. Fantastic playground for children ages 2-10.

I have written before about attractions in and around Flims (reviews of Hotel Cresta and of Bargis), but this is the first I have done for Caumasee. This beautiful Alpine lake is about a 45-60 minute walk from our hotel, depending on whether we dawdle. The "trail" is paved, has several places to stop and sit if you wish, and... More

We arrived around 5pm and the views from above are outstanding. You can swim, canoe or stroll around it. 100% visit if you can!

Definitely worth a visit in the summer (we went August 2013 but it wouldn't let me date it that far back)... lovely scenery and a great place to have a swim.

This is a beautiful lake. Surrounded by many trees, This is a great place to jump in the lake when the summer heat blazes through the sky. The only thing is that the water is cold.

There are several paths you can follow, walking around the forest and towards a few different viewing points. There is a lovely (but expensive) café at the Conn viewing point. When you get to the Caumasee, you are not disappointed. Although it's a shame it costs €10 to get inside for a swim, walking around the fence to have a... More

Walking throught the forest, listening to the sound of water running in the many fountains along the way and getting to a very beautiful scenary, was really amazing! The lake has such an unexpectable blue colour that you have to stop and stare and stare! We took the way down to the lake, on foot, as elevator not working yet... More

Pristine beauty but cold water!!! We walked to the lake from Hotel Cresta and after walking counter clockwise, we reversed and walked all the way to Conn. Thankfully, there was a pair of horses and a carriage to take us back to the hotel, We are 65 and 75 years old. Dr. S. Sesko and L. Kurtz

From Flims Waldhaus, lake Cauma is just a short walk through a beautiful pine forest. You can either walk down the rather steep slope or take the elevator to get there. Install yourself on one of the many beaches, and enjoy the sun and the (cold!) water. In summer, the place can become quite crowded but the fact that there... More
