we visited Sylt in May and unfortunately it was a wet and windy day. This aquarium was really perfect alternative. We loved it especially the very big "screen" aquatium, where you good see the sharks and the stingrays. good for young and old

HELLO DEAR You might be allready in Denmark - the danish Westcoast in Jutland / Soendervig Badevej - Maybe you are lucky to stay in Heraklit House in the dunes there and wish to take a trip to the German Island SYLT. It is a pleasure. I was there last week by car. From Soendervig Badevej to the Port in... More

We have been there on a grey day of April. The building looks rather big from outside. However, when you get in, it is rather quick to visit it. Consider 30 to 45 minutes even if you take to visit the aquarium. There are a lot of species, with at the beginning local fishes and then you have tropical fishes... More

This is a relatively small aquarium, but the exhibits are very well done. They have a feeding tank with a few seats in a mini-auditorium where you can watch the feeding every day, in our case it was at 15:00, but check at the information to be sure you don't miss it as it was well worth the half hour....
