Very interesting place to visit. Been around since 1810 and they still make mustard right there! The ability to taste so many flavors and buy those you like was great.

The historic mustard museum. This is worth a visit to taste and buy some amazing mustard. But, like Reichsburg, the "tour" - going into the mustard making room - is conducted in German with an English sheet to read. So not that great really. I'm not complaining - we're in Germany after all, but just saying. But really worth going... More

Lovely area to take a stroll, shop or grab a bite at the various restaurants, cafes. It gets very crowded so the best time to visit is in the morning, when the buses filled with tourists have not arrived yet.

This is supposedly the oldest continually operating mustard factory in Germany. They offer about 4 tours per day but we were not able to fit the tour in. Inside the entrance is a small shop and mustard tasting area where they have their many mustard types available for tasting. They probably had over 20 different favors which you can taste... More

This is a beautiful little town on the river! It is in the middle of wine county. The drive to this town is nearly as beautiful town itself.

Did not visit the museum this review praises the helpfulness of the staff who called a taxi for our group as one lady of 85 was finding the 38 degree heat too much to walk. If we had time we would have visited the museum.

We have been back a few times to refill our custom mustards. The staff is inviting and friendly. They are located very conveniently across the bridge in Cochem

If you like mustard, and who does not, and find yourself in Cochem, then you must go across the Mosel from Cochem to a building built in 1810 and sample the 9 mustards they make, plus spirits & liqueurs. There are also guided tours if you have an extra 30 minutes. Fun place, mustard is very good, perhaps not as... More

This was interesting though the show was only in German while others could read the leaflets and try to follow the guide. Can be too obvious for those who know how to make mustard but for others it may become an experience. Mustard on sale had a bit too much vinegar. But you can taste any variation and choose your... I love the atmosphere of this city center and the wonderful lattice it has everywhere. The place abounds in restos, bars and other shops and I couldn't stop gushing deep inside with the beauty it possesses.
