Excellent museum with many kids activities!

I liked the long slope from Jumbo jet, we also enjoyed Buran and other air and space stuff :-) Definatelly must see! City of Speyer itself is also very charming!

This is a nice Museum and it will take you a while to visit, at least 3-4 hours for sure, it also has a Max Dome with 3D movies and lots of things children can do, overall they will be facinated with this visit since they can enter some of the locomotives and planes, submarines and ships, they love that!

I spent an entire day in this museum, as an Engineer I really like technical museums but this is one of the best. I was with other friends and also people not into the technical world enjoyed it. You can visit a Lufthansa plane (some thing that everyone has already visited) but you can have a walk on the wing... More

It's recommended to go with enough time in order to observe all. When you think it's over you find another room completely full of interesting things.

I enjoyed the visit to this museum with my kids (ages 5 and 2). The vehicles collection is large and varied. Both kids are into trains, planes, and cars and enjoyed climbing into the cabs of those that were open for this. They also liked the (coin-operated) rides in the outdoor playground area. The café is nice for a short... More

We were there with our two boys. We all loved it. It is already impressive to see the planes etc from the outside and to go into the Jumbojet that is set up at an angle, really plays tricks with your mind. You have to get used to it. You can spend easily 2 hours there.

It is one of the best museums that I have seen. They have many things such as motorcycles, cars, fire engines, road rollers, passenger planes, fighter planes, submarine, space shuttle etc...... A 'Definitely visit' place near Frankfurt.

Nerdy teens need nerdy input... Easter I had my kids over to visit the Pfalz. Industrial culture in Saar and Palatine was high up on my 2do list. The Speyer museum is a MUST! Perhaps the variety of exposes is overwhelming and a bit disorganised... but stunning displays invite to come back over and over again.
