My kids are into all of the transportation options that you can see here - lots of cars, trains, planes and even spaceships. But the hands-down favorite activity was sliding down a two-story tall slide that is underneath the 747-400 Lufthansa plane. You take a rug and sit inside it and slide down a metal tube slide - quite quickly!... More

On our trip to Germany we visited the Technik Museum Speyer, Entry per person is 14 Euros. You can see lots of air planes, cars, racing cars. old motor bikes, Also you can go into some air planes, a U-Boot . For the Auto-and Technik Museum Sinsheim you have to pay extra, you get deduction of price, if you visit... More

Fantastic museum, with much interactivity. Unlike British museums, you have great and unsupervised access to the exhibits - get inside the 747, the Antonov, the U-boat and the S&R boat, as well as helicopters and other aircraft. Under-10s are well catered for with a range of activities. The on-site cafe has been improved enormously recently, too. IMAX is worth a... More

This was recommend to us from German friends. We had 4 hours here and could easily have spent more time. There is a great mixture of exhibit of cars, planes, boats etc and interactive displays. Great out door play ground for kids and adults alike. You get to board some of the craft to see around. They have a cafe... More

A fun museum.....the planes alone are worth half the pric eof admission. The locomotives brought back memories of my childhood in Germany. Speyer is a lovely town!

had the chance recently to visit this museum on the way back to the airport on business. The museum is large and very varied with the most interesting bits either the ability to stand on the wing on of a 747 at approach altitude, or to see a flight test Buran russian space shuttle. there is also a good selection... We had a great time at the museum. They have a great variety of things to see. They have public and military craft of all kinds. My son especially loved that we got to go inside an actual submarine.

The amount of stuff to see here is amazing; they have so much to see for only 14 euros! You can go inside so many different aircraft, including a real, commercial-sized Lufthansa Boeing 747-230! This was especially cool, being a frequent flyer. The inside museum was such a small part of everything that was offered; besides the ample machine information,... More

Technical museums are not my cup of tea. My relatives get excited about things like this. If you're into old cars and other forms of old transportation then this museum is for you. It's not something I can get excited about. You need a good three hours to thoroughly see this place.
