I enjoyed the visit to this museum with my kids (ages 5 and 2). The vehicles collection is large and varied. Both kids are into trains, planes, and cars and enjoyed climbing into the cabs of those that were open for this. They also liked the (coin-operated) rides in the outdoor playground area. The café is nice for a short... More

We were there with our two boys. We all loved it. It is already impressive to see the planes etc from the outside and to go into the Jumbojet that is set up at an angle, really plays tricks with your mind. You have to get used to it. You can spend easily 2 hours there.

It is one of the best museums that I have seen. They have many things such as motorcycles, cars, fire engines, road rollers, passenger planes, fighter planes, submarine, space shuttle etc...... A 'Definitely visit' place near Frankfurt.

Nerdy teens need nerdy input... Easter I had my kids over to visit the Pfalz. Industrial culture in Saar and Palatine was high up on my 2do list. The Speyer museum is a MUST! Perhaps the variety of exposes is overwhelming and a bit disorganised... but stunning displays invite to come back over and over again.

Great museum for technic lovers, is a must visit if you are in the area and like cars, planes and boats. Food at restaurant is also good.

The Museum is fascinating. So many different things to see and do. I went with my two boys. Age 4 and 7. They loved it. Their only criticism, and why I did not give 5 points, is that, although you can go in many of the planes etc you can see in the cockpit but not actually sit in it.... More

This is a museum for airplanes and automobiles and motorcycles and spacecraft! Mostly airplane theme with many surprises and lots of fun. You could EASILY spend an entire day here and still feel as if you didn't see everything you wanted to. It's an enormous place! Well laid out and easy to get around, well marked, food and restrooms are... More

Even technophobes will find something to amuse them in this eclectic collection of technology, from fire trucks (how did two Pennsylvania fire engines end up here?) to the Soviet Buran Space Shuttle. There are many interesting automobiles, trucks, trains, boats and planes, and it is possible to get very close, even inside many exhibits. One climbs many steps to get... More

If you like Cars, Planes, Trains, Trucks, U Boats, Helicopters - This is the place for you! I was truly amazed at how much they have to offer. The highlight was the Boeing 747 which you can wander round in, just fantastic. A really great attraction.
