We visit this park every year and every year the new owners improve their park. New this year: the outside aviaries for birds of paradise, a part of the 'behind scenes' aviaries are now visitable, the restyling of the kolibri house showing real breeding couples, unexpected birds in the free flight show.

The bird park is an amazing experience. Not only for the huge collection of many rare birds but also for the awesome sorroundings. All is very well mantained and it is a place for relax and mental therapy. The daily bird show was a little bit disappointing, but everything else is high class. Expect to spend a whole day in... After two high-paced days we chose to search for a quiet day at the bird zoo - and indeed we found it. We started the day by having the kids feed the loris, and they absolutely loved it. The kids, I mean - though the birds seemed happy as well. In the lori enclosure you can buy small cups of... More

We've been to the birdpark several times and always enjoy our visit. The park is well laid out, clean and tidy and there are several places to eat, the toilet facilities are clean and are frequent throughout the park. Parking is free and is just a short walk from the entrance and ticket office. The main attraction is of course... More

Was lots to see, spent 7 hours in the park and saw the outdoor show and the penguin and pelican feeding. Didnt manage to see any other shows as was at the wrong place at the times. Loved seeing humming birds and that the kids could feed the birds in several areas. Would have loved to have an audio about... More

The park is very nice to visit as a couple, friends or with kids and families. It's cheap to visit in a group rather than going as an individual or a couple. Hundreds kinds of birds to see. Well managed park with a bird show in an open park. All in all very good experience. Worth visiting it. The only... More

A really nice bird-centric zoo. Specifically liked the Air Show with all kind of birds. Really informative.

Weltvogelpark Walsrode, the world's biggest bird park, can't be recommended highly enough from both a scientific as well as a touristic point of view. Besides the incredible diversity of color, size & specialization shown in the thousands of birds from every corner of the globe, the commitment to providing the very best environment for each individual feathered species & to... The park gives you the opportunity to spend a very nice day, and to make interesting experiences. There are plenty of things to see and to do, just have a look at their daily program before the visit in order to select what you like. What I really recommend is the "Flugshow": you really do not have to miss it!!!... More
