It was tinier than we'd expected! You'll see the end of the room/museum from the counter where you'll pay 4 euros to enter. In one corner, there are chairs for a screening of an old documentary on the Zeppelin, entirely in German. As others have pointed out, non-German speakers will have a hard time understanding the documents/photos/items on display as... More

Heard only good things about this one of a kind museum in Meersburg, Germany. We went there full of hopes and dreams, probably similar to the feeling that the passenger and crew of the LZ 129 Hindenburg had before it took off on May 6 1937. Upon arrival, the staff informed us that all the information is in german. As... More

Great interactive sections for young and old mixed with lots of information and walk through Zeppelin experience. We spent a few hours with our two young boys and they still cite it as a highlight of their trip to the lake.

Amazing Zeppelin Museum located in Friedrichshafen We really enjoyed visiting the museum and it was great museum that combines technology with the history and artistic work. The only disadvantage is everyting displayed in German. The museum full of history about the whole history of balloon flight. There was a museum cafe including so many objects. The museum has an outdoor balcony... More

While we were staying in Meersburg we hopped on a bu and went down to the museum. It is very nicely done and taught me a few things I didn't know. They have part of a Zeppelin in their museum that you can go up inside like you are a passenger. They have rooms and the viewing and dining area... More

Smaller than the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshaven, but I found the displays more interesting and details. Friendly, knowledgeable staff - just down from the castle!

Quite a quick visit not a lot to see, but informative none the less. Shows the German engineering prowess at the time. A nice walk along the front afterwards is possible.

If you were in Germany don't forget to visit Zeppelim Museum. It is a very good place to visit and stay. Spend a day you can be able to enjoy many information about Zeppelim and also have a very nice view of Constance Lake. I pretty recomend it.

This place and the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen complement each other - the latter is a more commercial museum which gives a good overview and a feel for the size of the airships, with a carefully presented selection of interesting details, whereas this museum is a collection of hundreds of small artifacts, pictures and memories packed into a small space...
