We went to Kirmes Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sun and it never got even close to boring. The rides were awesome fun, there's huge ones for the thrill seeking adults and every size smaller for all others. There was so many delicious treats to try (I recommend the chocolate coated strawberries) and fun things to see - all arranged through... More

this is like any kirmes in Germany. great for kids and for locals. personally Soest has some great little pubs like the Pilgrim and Zweibel - better off going there. (i have been to Soest 50+ times since 1986)

Apart from the thousands of people visiting Soest Kirmes, I can only pour praise on the superb organisation and wonderful setting of the whole event. Not something to be missed if you are ever in the Soest area around the beginning of November each year. Well worth a flight ticket over to see it all.

I was born in Soest and i had the opportunity to visit the Kermis every year. It is a fabulous experience. It is the biggest inner city Kermis in Europe, maybe in the world. I would go every year if i could, but i m not living in Germany anymore.
