The amazing thing about the Brewery is its devotion to energy conservation is remarkable in that the brewing process uses a lot of energy but the genius of this one is that so much of the energy in the form of heat etc. is reclaimed and so is economically wise in its use of energy. The water for the beer... More

Of course the beer tasting is the best part, but the brewery tour was fun and we had a great tour guide. The tasting room is very nice and has a restaurant feel. We were served 2 pretzels and sausages each. All the beers were available to taste except the seasonal variety offered in October. We could drink as much... More

The brewery tour is great fun, one of the best brewery tours ever. Most tours seem too commercialized but this was very professional. The entrance is pretty cheap (12 eur person) and includes unlimited beer tastings (all 6 brews) and a round of German bratwurst. The most delicious bratwurst i`ve ever eaten don`t miss these. They also have a gift shop to... More

The brewery tour is excellent; one of the best brewery tours we've had in years. Even better than the heineken experience in amsterdam. The entrance is pretty cheap (12 euros a person) and that includes a light meal and all beers to be tasted...! We were able to taste every single beer that the brewery produces in any format we... Having been to the Herbsfest the evening before drinking Erdinger's 5.85% Festival Beer it was a great opportunity the following day to visit the brewery where it was made. Admittedly I did have a bit of a hangover in the morning which meant I opted for the Alkoholfrei Isotonic Erdinger for my welcome drink at 11.30am! This was a really... More

I made a trip from Munich to Erding specially for this tour and ot definitely did not disappoint. It is only 6€ for students which is a bargain because the tour itself is great: you can see the equipment and look round the bottling and storage depot. The tasting session is the best part because you get as much beer... More

For the reduced student entry price of 6 euros we got an interesting and informative tour around the live production line, followed by a tasting session with a traditional Bavarian supper of sausages and pretzels! It was a really great experience and a good opportunity to meet other beer enthusiasts. The brewery is a bit of a trek outside Erding... More

We recently visited the Erdinger Brewery with our teenagers, ~30-40 minutes outside of Munich central but accessible by public transport. Had arranged a 5:30p English-speaking tour but missed the bus from the S-Bahn (local train) station, so took a taxi there for ~14 Euros. Then also discovered that the last bus from the brewery was due to leave at 834p,... More
