I made a trip from Munich to Erding specially for this tour and ot definitely did not disappoint. It is only 6€ for students which is a bargain because the tour itself is great: you can see the equipment and look round the bottling and storage depot. The tasting session is the best part because you get as much beer... More

For the reduced student entry price of 6 euros we got an interesting and informative tour around the live production line, followed by a tasting session with a traditional Bavarian supper of sausages and pretzels! It was a really great experience and a good opportunity to meet other beer enthusiasts. The brewery is a bit of a trek outside Erding... More

We recently visited the Erdinger Brewery with our teenagers, ~30-40 minutes outside of Munich central but accessible by public transport. Had arranged a 5:30p English-speaking tour but missed the bus from the S-Bahn (local train) station, so took a taxi there for ~14 Euros. Then also discovered that the last bus from the brewery was due to leave at 834p,... More

After reading all the great reviews we decided a tour here sounded like a lot of fun. I emailed the brewery to ask if they had any english tours while we were in Erding and was told only German tours were available but the bottling plant would be working and tasting beer is the same in every language:) We decided... Went here with a group of 13 for the brewery tour. Easy to be reached as it is 40 minutes outside Munich on a direct train. Reception was friendly and after introduction, a bottle of Erdinger and a short movie we set off on the hour long tour taking the whole production line. The tour guide was interesting and answered... We really wanted to do a tour here because Erdinger Weissbrau is one of our favourite beers. I emailed the brewery beforehand to see if there was going to be an English tour during our vacation that we could join since we were only 4 people. I received a prompt reply from the brewery and by the time we left... More

I loved the tour, was really made in a personal note. Cool to see all those details and how to do everything! I also did other brewery tours, but really loved this one, with all the beer tasting in the end and with the atmosphere. Of course also because I consider Erdinger the best beer in the world! Not probably,... More

I booked our tour through email but there were no English tours available during our trip. We decided to go anyway because we had read that it was worth it even without understanding the guide. It took a while to get there on public transportation from Munich and there isn't much to do by the brewery if you get there... More

The tour of the brewery was comprehensive and interesting. The fun came during the hour and a half after the tour when we did our tasting. Everyone gets two sausages and 2 pretzels with mustard. You may taste all of the beers they have to offer that day, which was 8. Unless insructed otherwise, they are served in .5 litre... More
