I stopped In Bad Pyrmont on a whim. Anna Karenina is one of my favourite books. I am in love with Varanka, and I am fascinated with the healing history and the famous figures who have flocked to spa towns in Germany for centuries. Instead of spending my first night in Hameln, I ended up here. I saw a restaurant... More

Nice experience. The baths are clean but the surroundings could be made somewhat more pleasant in order to make it more enjoyable to sit in a chair for a while after swimming or a sauna.

At first I thought there was a 4 euro entrance fee. On the last day of my visit my hotel actually charged me for a Pyrmont card which gives me unlimited access to the gardens. It was small but very beautiful, even though it was raining I enjoyed it a lot. I can imagine how beautiful it would be when... More

It well deserves its reputation. There's a small entrance fee but nobody at the open gate to check tickets in the evenings! In the past only the aristocracy was allowed into this therapeutic place but now it's accessible to everyone. Explore at the pace that best suits you. It offers magnificent views from every angle: ponds, fountains, pavilions, long avenues... More

Firstly there is a fee for the gardens at 4 Euros per adult. We unfortunately went in the rain where everything looks a bit grey but still pretty. The gardens are a nice walk but nothing mind blowing. Perhaps better in the summer or when there is entertainment on in the park. Plenty of space for children to run around... More

One of the best parks I have ever visited. I left before the Kurpark parade for the return of the Palm Trees which are kept indoors during the winter, a big regional celebration. Used by all ages, but especially user freindly for the elderly

The Staatsbad Pyrmont can be proud to have such a wide expanse for a Kurpark und Palm Garden. It is a joy to promenade about, enjoy th Kurkonzert, admire the artfully planted flower beds, take rest at one of the many fountains or just relax in most pleasant surroundings. Our obligatory daily Kurtaxe (Spa fee) is put to good use.
