This area is all worth a visit. There are the ferries for trips along the lake, the lake itself, with a wonderful view, a closely park wonderful for families to gather, many restaurants and, to get there, you have to pass the Konzil building, which is a place to visit. But above all, there is Imperia. Imperia is a 9... More

I am privileged to now live near enough to visit this area fairly regularly, the views of the lake are amazing, with beautiful sunsets if you catch the right evening. The statue of Imperia is quite dominant and worth a visit, there are lovely strolls in the surrounding area, and a good choice of cafe's, restaurants and bars, to suit... More

Great functioning harbour with quite an assortment of water craft. The vibrancy and variety of bars and restaurants gave this area a lively and inviting atmosphere.

The harbor has a statue of a woman holding to nearly naked men in her hands (Look up the history behind for yourself). Otherwise it's a nice harbor with ferries coming and going, small boats and nice restaurants along the waterfront.

The harbor is well guarded by Peter Lenk's Imperia and buttressed by the Council of Constance building, the Railroad Station and marinas. There are boat tours for a few euro, well worth it. On a warm day, the many cafes offer shade and cold drinks.

The harbor area is very vibrant and fun. We used the ferries for several trips and so we spent a lot of time there. Lots of hustle and bustle. There are spots to eat and drink and just hang out!

On a nice day the harbor is real beautiful with a view of both the Lake and a part of the town. Just nearby the impressive and massive Konzil building which hosted the 15th century Constance Council. So typical of Germany, Jan Hus was burned at the stake following the Council's verdict. The harbor is easily accessible through the railway... More

We were lucky to hit good weather when here and the harbour area is certainly a good spot to wander around/dine/enjoy a drink. If you enjoy people watching etc this is one place to go as there are lots of people coming and going.
