The harbor is well guarded by Peter Lenk's Imperia and buttressed by the Council of Constance building, the Railroad Station and marinas. There are boat tours for a few euro, well worth it. On a warm day, the many cafes offer shade and cold drinks.

The harbor area is very vibrant and fun. We used the ferries for several trips and so we spent a lot of time there. Lots of hustle and bustle. There are spots to eat and drink and just hang out!

On a nice day the harbor is real beautiful with a view of both the Lake and a part of the town. Just nearby the impressive and massive Konzil building which hosted the 15th century Constance Council. So typical of Germany, Jan Hus was burned at the stake following the Council's verdict. The harbor is easily accessible through the railway... More

We were lucky to hit good weather when here and the harbour area is certainly a good spot to wander around/dine/enjoy a drink. If you enjoy people watching etc this is one place to go as there are lots of people coming and going.

We strolled along the harbour early one morning and enjoyed the serenity of the place, as there were few people up and about. However, there are several restaurants which seemed quite active when I briefly visited the harbour at night.

The walk on the harbour front is definitely a highlight of any visit to Konztanz. It is a typical setting, with ice cream vendors, and a variety of tourist traps, but that's par for the course. At the end of one pier, there is a pretty neat statue, a true landmark for Konstanz, as it is quite original. It shows... More

I like the harbour in Konstanz. It has a decent waterfront with a small number of restaurants and a beer garden. Whether you're taking a short walk or sitting down for a meal, it's a nice place to spend an afternoon. I was there over the weekend and we took a short stroll in the nice sunny weather. It was... All what you looking for is close from there, German restaurants, cafes, icecream shops, supermarket, metro station, bus stop, Mac, park and a big mall. You can take a boat going to any other cities along the lake

Great place to walk around - the spinning statue is one of the icons of the town, and whilst I was there, there was an old fashioned car show on, with all kinds of cars there. Really cool place on a summery day.

It’s a very relaxing lakeside promenade. It begins from the Steigenberger hotel on one end and stretching all the way to the quiet green space of the Swiss border. Take in the view of restaurants, boats anchored on the water, museums, attractions, shopping center, main train station and bus terminal and tourist office. It’s a nice area to take a... More
