Sliver Lake resort has wonderful xcountry skiing trails. Was not there for downhill, but they looked great too. Beautifully groomed with both easy and challenging trails. I would have liked a bit better markings on the trails, got slightly lost once but found my way back onto main trail easily. Lots of stuff happening there. Price for daily xcountry skiing... More

Silver Star is a super friendly laid back place, great skiing, had a blast on the mountain, a little pricey for the half day.

This is a great mountain. Front the ticket sellers to the ski patrollers, all the staff are very friendly and accommodating to guests. While the price of things may be a tad much you get great service in all the bars and shops. The mountain its self has something to offer for everyone level of snow slider.

If you cross country ski, you need to visit Silver Star. Short of flying to Norway this is as first class as it gets. For downhill skiing, it's unique in the base area is near the top of the hill, so lots of ski-in/ski-out options. This is not the ski resort for restaurants or nightlife. That being said, Little Johns... More

We travel through Vernon every fall and always stay a day or two, but we had never been up to the ski resort as it wasn't ski season. This year we decided to make the drive up and see what it looked like in summer. What a surprise ~ the parking lot was full, and there were people on bikes... More

Yes I know it isn't winter, when it will be bustling. But I was expecting it to be much busier, like a mini Whistler. We just moved Kelowna and were scouting out the ski hill to see if it is something we be interested in going back to. Thought it would be busier on a long weekend, as we heard... More

What a beautiful place to explore the wild side of British Columbia. The resort offers great opportunities for the "fit" and energetic during the summer months, maximising the fantastic facilities that it has predominately for the snowy season. Great trails, mountain biking geocaching and natural geographic walks abound. All capped off with the most beautiful views of the Okanagan valley,... More

2nd time to a bike park. 1st was last year to Sun Peaks with my 7 y.o. Silver Star is definatley more young kid friendly with smoother beginner trails. This year we brought the 5 y.o. to shred with his 8 y.o. brother. Trails ridden by the younger were Easy Street and Challenger green and blue. Challenger is a fun... More

I love Silver Star. The colourfully painted village looks like a quaint gingerbread village and has good dining choices and a few nice shops to browse. The skiing is phenomenal. A good mix of runs for all levels and varied snow as well. Champagne powder on some runs so deep it made me laugh, perfectly groomed runs to fly down... More
