We spend 10 days at Silver star with all our family (7 adults and 8 kids) and could not have picked a better ski station ! Silver star has a warm feel about it and does not feels overwhelming as the big ski resorts but still have plenty of great runs and amazing family activities .... If you are a... More

We were at the resort over Easter and it was great. Lots to do for the kids such as snow tubing and snowmobile rentals. Great spring skiing. The village is small with easy access to all things. The Dummy Downhill on the last day of the season was a lot of fun. Friendly staff. More

Cute small village very colourful buildings with fantastic skiing. Long Johns pub was great for meals at night with live music and great atmosphere. Good retail and food. Ski runs were fantastic but the groomers were off the pace. The tubetown and the snowmobiles were so much fun. Friendly staff and great snow made for a really enjoyable holiday. More

We stayed at the Pinnacles Resort. Nice condo but found the ski in/out very difficult for beginners/smaller children. Buy your tickets from the mountain, we tried Cosco and it ended up costing us more in the long run. Lines ups were non-existent. Lessons were great. They offer free guided tours of the slopes which would be a great value to... More

This was my fifth mountain. I had already been treated to Fernie, Sunshine, Lake Louise and Kicking Horse. Now was I going to be treated again. You bet ya! Stayed at Vance Creek Lodge in the centre of the village. Huge flakes of snow on my arrival. Accom very good. Ski out and in. Rentals have good quality gear. Skier... More

Can't say enough good things about our family ski trip to Silver Star. The village is the perfect size, staff are friendly, terrain is varied enough to keep everyone from beginner to expert constantly challenged. We had 10cm of fresh snow everyday we skiied and our only regret is we didn't stay longer. A very special thanks to Robin Baycroft,... More
