My 11 year old son and I spent a couple of days riding the trails at Silver Star. This was our first experience riding downhill. We rode our own bikes the first day and then rented downhill bikes and gear on the second day. The hill was a great experience, well planned, marked, and maintained. The rental shop was very... For a large group event that basically takes over the Village its fantastic. The Village is generally quiet and services limited during the summer but for two weeks in July the PHSD Group brought music and fun to the Village. 8 am pipe band marches certainly wake you up and get the blood flowing. Great fun.

Loved everything about Silverstar! Trail were great. Very well thought out and maintained. Progression of the trails here is excellent. My kids did semi private lessons one day and a kids bike camp another day and they learned a ton. The village is cute with several delicious places to eat. Can't wait to come back and bike here again!!

After hearing from a friend on how nice the Silver Star Mountain Resort was in the summer, we decided to see it for ourselves. Set up in the high mountain alpine, we had a great time. We walked around the village looking at beautiful mountain backdrops and looked inside their many shops. This resort has many nice looking small restaurants... More

The three of us (aged 14, 47 & 51) landed in Silver Star on June 25, which was the first day of their summer season. The place was a bit of a ghost town - very few people on-site and, subsequently, very few restaurants open (although the food quality was very good everywhere). It has a quirky feel to it,... More

We stayed 9 nights and loved each one. Firelight lodge was comfortable and convenient for the village. The skiing is fantastic - no queues while we were there. The 8 minutes in the chair to the top is a good change to catch breath, chat with locals and plan the next run. We thought the instructoers were great. Our children... More

Without going into details, I had a problem with my Senior's Season Pass and was not able to use it 2014-15. Maria was just brilliant and as a customer service representative and Ticket Office Manager, simply superb. I will definitely recommend the resort and Maria whenever I get the opportunity. As a Brit. we don't always receive very good service... More

A lot of skating was required between runs and three are a lot of cat tracks. Back side of the mountain had some good runs, but again a lot of flat terrain. I think after a few days, you would want to move on. I was ready to after two full on days of skiing here. However, the village is... More

All the facilities are close together in the village. The ski area of the village is car free so very safe for children. Good ski in/ ski out, even the car parks! Great guiding the best we have experienced.
