This was our first time in the Kelowna area for a ski and snowboard holiday. As this was late March, we choose Big White due to its higher elevation. This year was particularly mild in the Okanagan Valley and we were quite disappointed to learn that the Gem Lake Express Quad was closed due to lack of snow at the... More

We just returned from a great week at Big White and couldn't be happier with our choice. We have skied all over the Canadian Rockies (and a bit in the US) and now that we have kids, I don't think we will go anywhere else. The ski school lives up to its reputation as one of the best in Canada... More

We aren't skiers but spent a week in Kelowna. Other family members are skiers and we went to Big White on three separate days. One day we just walked around and explored. One day we went dog sledding - a great experience. The third day we went smowmobiling. Had lots of fun.

Our family of five (kids - 14, 12, 8) had a perfect family March break here. The kids are not avid skiers, but the large variety of runs and good lessons at the ski school (kids and adults) were perfect for us. There truly is a great range of runs for all ski levels and all of the lifts are... More

I guess there was ore snow here then most places so we had that going for us. Nice groomers in the mornings but brick-hard. Soft and mushy by afternoon. Disappointed the ice rink is closed, but I guess it is too much to ask when the weather is warm.

Big White had snow while resorts on the coast were bare. Had never skiied here before and was pleasantly surprised. Really well organized, lots of terrain. The resort makes accomodations and everything incredibly easy to organize. Great family resort!

Our family consisting of 2 seniors, 1 six year old and his parents had an outstanding 7 days of sun and well groomed slopes. The ski school is extremely well organized and the six year old boy had a blast. Amazed at how he progressed during 5 days of lessons. We adults couldn't have been more satisfied with the variety...
