This is not the usual well-ordered National Trust country house but a fascinating jumble of amazing curios, which comprises one man's lifetime collection. We loved it as did the children aged 7 and 5 because they were invited to find specific items in each room and receive a sticker for each one, ultimately getting a certificate. The volunteers made a... More

Visited Snowshill Manor on the only wet day of the October half term with my husband and 2 boys after it being recommended by a friend. We weren't disappointed. As usual there were things for my boys to get involved with during the visit (searching for pumpkins and working out clues as well as finding specific items in each room).... More

Fascinating and very unique place to visit. An amazing collection of antiquities collected throughout the life of the previous owner. Large well stocked gardens.

We went here today for a visit, as my mum was very interested in it being like Aladdin's cave, the gardens are lovely and there is plenty to look at and learn. Although the manor was very busy today and we weren't allowed in until our timeslot which was at two, we found the house very interesting, but felt that... More

As part of a weekend break we decided to include a return to see Mr Wade's manor and collection. We originally came here and was just in ore of the objects of watches, clocks, flags, furniture, statues, ship models, vases and bicycles among other things in this 22,000 pieces collection. This is one of the main reasons of returning back to see more and... More

Last sunday we visited Snowshill Manor and what an interesting house to visit. The collection of items in the house is amazing. The grounds were lovely too and in such a pretty place in the Cotswolds. We have been there three times now and it is definately worth a visit

£14 for two people to view the disappointing gardens. Good idea to have a golf buggy to take you up and down if you are unable to walk the path to the house and gardens. The staff were SO pushy for us to join the National Trust - it was very off putting especially the younger member of staff on... More

We were late arriving so only had time to visit the gardens and they are a fantastic higgledy-piggledy mix of mainly informal planting. It was a lovely place to be and the staff were helpful and friendly.

We had previously visited the gardens, but didn't get chance to visit the house on our last visit. We found the guides very informative. I would recommend listening to the story about the house prior to entering. Check out the times when you pay. The house has 21 rooms full of various objects including lots of clocks. It maybe handy... More

Have been several times, always something new to look at but recommend a TORCH! And purchasing a guide book.
