Went to the waterfalls with friends just to have a look. Not too crowded as its only Easter so could dangle our legs in the water with out falling over anyone. Pleasent to visit this time of the year, would recommend going to guadalest on the same day as also a good place to visit. Great views.

Algar Waterfalls is a lovely spot to spend an hour or two on a hot Spanish day. In a quiet rural setting except for a few cafes and gift shops we found it very relaxing. It is a series of beautiful waterfalls over several levels with steps and little wooden bridges going between levels. It is actually where the old... More

A day out at the fonts de l'algar is a must for my family and I whenever we are staying on the Costa Blanca. Having young children safety is paramount, the walk to the top is safe and rails are provided for some people. There are various plunge pools to relax in and plenty of shaded areas for picnics aswell.... More

The satnav wouldn't accept Algar Falls so we had to go to a tourist office for the village name - but the falls are well beyond the village. The falls are surrounded by cafes and restaurants, many with swimming pools, and as the natural pools at the falls are quite small and liable to get packed in summer, you can... More

Lovely little stroll around the park a lot of steps to get up to the main swimming area and the ground not very flat for those hard of walking it not very suitable the water is cold very cold but lovely if it is a boiling hot day it was featured in the show benidorm but it looks a lot... More

just been on 4th Jan. Beautiful sunny day, hardly anybody there, stunning!... We went in the water, just us, nobody else in there, idyllic. I don't understand the comments about the water being too cold... I can only think that in the summer when the sea & pools are quite warm, it's quite a contrast to swim in waterfalls. All... More

A nice break away from the pool and beach. Reasonable entry fee. If u dont mind the cold river water its a good swim n climb but if your like me I sat on a bank with feet in the water and watched the family while I sunbathed. Its not great fkr little ones. And pushchairs not recommended as many... More

We stopped there on our way to Guadalest for a quick visit, and we were all a bit disappointed. I personally don't think it is worth the € 4.00 entrance fee and the parking fee of € 3.00, especially if you are only planning a quick visit. The way it is constructed is a bit too touristic (private car parks... More

I can only agree with the comments from everyone who has visited ALGAR it really is the jewel in the Crown after a twisty drive and after parking its only a short walk to the waterfalls ..if your brave enough you can wade up and under the falls it certainly takes your breath away..there is a small bar where you... Spur of the moment drive to the fonts , loveley walk through some beautiful scenery and stunning waterfalls , sadly we had no swimming gear else would of joined the numerous people braving the waters it looked so inviting . Cafe owner verryyyyy grumpy hence me marking it only a 4 , if we hadn't visited the cafe 5 it... More
