My daughter (age 5) had one week's lessons with SkiCool, and I was quite pleased with the instruction. Even though my daughter is only 5, she has skied many times before and is at a higher level than most children her age. Many ski schools stick her in the lowest level classes, with children her age, and then she is... More

My husband and I just had a fantastic week of private lessons with Amelie. Her english is excellent and easy to understand. Her instruction was kind and supportive. And most importantly, she was very good at explaining and demonstrating the techniques in a way which was easy for us to understand. As a local she knows the mountain backwards and... More

Two children at different skiing levels with different needs. Daughter loved it but probably not the right choice for my son. I booked with skiCool after a couple fo poor experiences with ESF in other resorts. We always have to go at peak times which means the childrens ski classses are generally full. With ESF this means 14 in a... More

Having spent 2 days falling over on a snowboard and hating the damn thing, I was ready to thow it down the mountain!! Then my girlfriend and I booked a 2 hour private lesson through SkiCool (only about 90 Euros for 2 of us!), with an instructor named Begnat. After 2 hours of Begnat patiently showing us where to put... More

We had the pleasure of spending the full week with Philip, private lessones for my father-in-law and myself. Philip was VERY nice; we managed to change a lesson's schedule (due to weather). Philip took us onto great slops, adjusting himself to our limits, and pushing through the limites to get us a bit further up from where we were. He... More

15 year old son wanted to board. He has had ~ 4 hours on UK snowdomes. I put him in group 1 - just above beginner, he was moved up to level 2 ASAP. By the end of 6 days he was free riding powder faster than me ! Little bugger. Easy to find meeting point, numerous sub-offices in town.... More

I have just completed a weeks snowboard school with the instructor Gael Melet, my wife also used Skicool and had Xavier for ski lessons. The quality of the lessons is certainly some of the best available in the Alps, we were very lucky with the amount of fresh snow each day but both the teachers made our holiday one to... More

Great location, much quieter than the La Plagne side of the mountain with real people who really care. From ski shop to restaurants, everyone really wanted you to have a super time.

We have recently returned from a delightful skiing holiday in Val Thorens, during which we booked private lessons for my wife with Ski Cool. This was a critical holiday for my wife and her future skiing career. She had had a very bad experience in Austria last year, where her instructor placed his own ego ahead of her needs and... More
