A group of five of us visited Les Gets in late March, so we were taking a little risk with the weather. The risk paid off with lots of snow for our first few days, and then lovely sunshine for the rest. For three of us this was our first snowboard/ski trip and I feel Les Gets is a perfect... More

Really enjoyed staying in Les Gets. It is prettier, more convenient and quieter than Morzine, yet offers enough in the way of restaurants, bars etc to satisfy most apres-ski seekers. The local skiing around Chavannes and the bowl is first-rate, if unchallenging (and there's a free 'little train' aka wally-trolley operating every 15 mins or so to the lift serving... More

Les Gets is an excellent ski area for all abilities. The slopes are maintained well and nice and smooth every morning despite mounds of snow by the end of the day. We booked our own ski passes before we arrived through the Les Gets web site and picked them up from the Tourist Information office on arrival. Its cheaper and... More

We did the Tour once, with hindsight should have gone to each village separately and skied them as doing the Tour does not do any of them justice. We most enjoyed the runs around Les Gets (best food too) and the Pointe de Mossette and Les Lindarets areas.

Hated Pure mountain Chalets but loved Les Gets. One of the prettiest resorts with a lovely ambience.

Les Gets is a small town situated perfectly for skiers. The main slopes come right down into the town on both sides, although to get from one side to the other you need to take the Petit Train, or face a bit of a hike in your ski boots. There is good local skiing, but if you fancy going further... More

You should always take classes with ESF. Perfect for children and adults. The teachers know everything about the station and shows you those hidden places. Quentin was fab!

A very good resort to visit if you are in a party of mixed ability. Beginners and learners have the lovely gentle tree-lined blue and green slopes of Les Gets, intermediates have the quiet red and black slopes of Mont Chery and for advances skiers the cracking off-piste in Avoriaz and Chatel is only an hour away - ski to... Les Gets is a low resort, only 1100m. I'd be wary of prebooking a trip before mid-January, or after March The lifts are modern and reliable, the lifties are friendly. Even at Feb half-term the 1st queue of the day was OK, 15 mins or so. After that the queues were minimal. The are links to Portes de Soleil which... More
