This is a purpose built resort and it shows. Great selections of resturants and leisure. The pool in the centre of the village is very good for kids. No cars allowed in village so you either walk it, ski it or go around by sleigh or snowcat.

Went to Les Gets as a beginner in a group of 14 adults (works trip). We loved it, skied over to the next town (morzine) quite easily after a few lessons and a bit of practice. Found there was ample lift capacity for the volume of skiers, also plenty of cafes with seating available on the slopes. I'm told it's... More

Les Gets is a great ski resort with plenty of wide runs and some more difficult areas for more advanced skiers. Park in the big free carpark at the edge of the town - Les Perriers and take the chairlift up from there. Good choice of restaurants in the town or on the slopes. You can access Morzine from les... Perfect Place for Beginners. Lots of shops and coffee bars to wander around if you tire of being on the slopes and the atmosphere in the many bars and restaurants is always friendly. Pretty town not too expensive and lots of ski schools for learners.

Been going here with our young children for past three seasons and doesn't disappoint. They started in the Indian trail and now can do all reds on the mountain. Make sure you ski the bowl. The parking when you first get into les gets (before the village) is the best and has a lovely long red run that gets great... More

Its a great place to ski if you buy the whole domain for the port du Soleil however there is great skiing in Les Gets. I don't think that this area is overly suitable if you are just learning as there quite narrow runs and there where not a huge amount of blue runs .They have all the schools and... More

You could ski here every day and not cover all the runs - fabulous ski area and not to be missed. Loved it.

A real French town. Plenty going on. Great blues and reds, tree-lined. Easy access to Morzine, Avoriaz.

No lines, easy access to lifts. Good snowmaking but definitely spring conditions made it very slushy in the afternoon. Good job of grooming the slopes.

We had a fantastic family holiday in Les Gets. Lovely town, very easy to get around & everything is really well located. Some really nice restaurants & bars. The skiing is ideal for families with children with some lovely runs for children of all levels.
