Les Gets is so near Geneva which is a big advantage in transfer times. There are very nice pistes for average skiers who like to amble along. expert skiers should love it also as there was 6-8 excellent skiers in ou group who loved the slopes. Drinks and food 20% more expensive. Chair-lifts can be rough. No taxi service after... More

Easy access to piste, town pretty but would not suit people who want to party each night. Snow better than in Avoriaz which surprised us. Book skis in advance on Internet to get good discount.

Mid to late January allows for no queues particularly weekdays. being an hour from Geneva take an early flight and be skiing by lunchtime. From beginner to advanced in a mixed group of ability all will be happy. If there's powder its got the lot. Watch for snow reports and go last minute. We did Sunday morning to Thursday and... More

Great vast ski area. Snow could've been a bit better. Food on the mountain was mostly really tasty but expensive. We found the locals to be very friendly and welcoming too. Major plus point was the short transfer time from Geneva!

My 11 year old son fell of the mezzanine bed platform in the middle of the night on to his back and we had to get a taxi to the hospital an hour away. Could not get hold of any emergency doctors or reach4thealps staff. Luckily his back x-ray was clear and just got away with a sprained wrist. When... More

There are plenty of blues and a few reds that are a little more challenging. Limited off-piste. It was a quiet week so very small queues. Very friendly lift staff and a very good ESF school with great instructors. Plenty of scope to explore the area.

The resort is low so the conditions can vary. But in one week I got to ride warm, almost-spring-slush on one day, and waist deep power another. And if all else fails, Avoriaz is only a bus away.

Second time to Les Gets - great place for families, lots to do and the slopes are plenty. Lots of restaurants....Boomerang a favourite and an ice rink in town. Lovely feel to the place and a great bar Hotel Belle Vue at the bottom of the slopes, which helped the aches and pains after a days skiing!
