Had a fantastic summer holiday in Les Gets this year. The boys enjoyed some amazing downhill trails and although he weather had been very wet for the few weeks before we arrived they still managed and enjoyed two full days downhill biking. As the week went on the weather improved.....fantastic views from the trails and the lift service was excellent.

This was our 1st family trip with the mountain bikes with the sole intention of riding in the high Alp trails. Our son is 9 and a growing in skill and confidence rider whilst my other half is keen but still developing her skills. We all have big suspension bikes and these are perfect but not essential to ride even... More

unfortunately heavy rain meant the trails were very washed out and slow. could do with some harder terrain trails which are rideable in wet conditions.

Just got back from a week in Les gets, France on a downhill biking holiday. If i needed a work, EPIC. We stayed at a place called La Grange Au Frene, a camping site located on a big hill in Les gets. Whilst it was a little out of the way of the town centre it really was excellent. Not... More

From flowing trails to massive tabletops jumps and everything inbetween and around those, great place.

Les Gets and the surrounding towns/villages are a playground for any mtb enthusiast of any standard. There is something for everyone and even if the thought of cycling up hill puts you off, thats no problem as the chair lifts are used to fetch you and your bike up the hills if you wish

Great variety of trails of all levels and the chairlifts mean lots of runs down the hill each day. Good connections across to Morzine as well. Best of all the medical facilities on hand for when it goes wrong are first rate (one of our party had a heavy fall). If you go across to Morzine the restaurant at the... More

This was my first visit to a full bike park (with chair uplift). Having ridden quite a few DH trails in the UK I was really looking forward to it! We started with some of the blue runs which were a good intro to riding there, and quickly moved on to the reds. The full Chavanne red run is a... More

Les Gets bike park is a lottery, some tracks are great others are poor and in need of reshaping/maintenance. BTW went to Intersport by lift station to rent bikes for family ride instead of just me going mad on the mountains. what a mistake, staff are surly and miserable, no advice to novices and literally chucked the bikes at them... Lea gets bike park is getting worse each year. There are some great tracks but they are I rideable due to the lack of maintainence. They are so rough. They aren't designed that well so brake bumps are everywhere. They are building new tracks but the shapers don't have a clue and are still building tracks that get bumpy very... More
