Really lovely town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants mainly on the two parallel main streets. There is a courtesy bus which covers the resort and runs frequently.

Lots of great blue runs for ageing 'blue cruisers' with some more challenging red and black runs on the way down from the top back to the town. Vallentin is a steep black but the only alternative to Demoiselle to get down in the afternoon although one can always catch the gondola back down if too tired. The glacier runs... More

Good variety of runs and loads of great learning slopes for beginners at different heights on the mountain.

A great resort, great skiing up on the glacier, ski hire staff in Hotel Aalborg are brilliant and our hotel Serre Palas was fab. The food and bars in town are a bit Sammy, with the exception of Le Cellier which is brilliant. It can be expensive to eat and drink but when your captive in the resort you don't... More

This resort is great for skiing and alike... We wanted a resort which had lots for beginners and intermediates .. Great hotels and great restaurants.. Quite expensive resort but then that's what u get in France ... 2 FREE drag lifts at the bottom for those re finding there feet .. Lost pass is €47 a day if you don't... More

Having a lovely time in the resort. However, never experienced security guards so obnoxious as the ones at the entry of the Panobar. At the top of the Jandri Express lift 1. Rude and would not give any ID (not sure if it's a requirement in France).

Visited Les Deux Alpes in March 2014 with a group of keen skiers, and were lucky enough to have fantastic weather on all but 1 day. Whilst the resort boasts 225km of pistes, a large proportion of these are Green tracks for getting from one area to another and beginners areas. That said, there is a good amount of pistes... More

Great slopes, very well kept, lots of variety of runs for all abilities. Great on slope restaurants, little pricey but to be expected. Good restaurants, bars and general buzz about the place. Try the Rhumerie, great little rum bar on the main strip. Would definitely come back again.

A nice variety of runs for the intermediate skiier. A few nice and gentle runs for beginners at the bottom and also near the glacier. Most beginners will choose to take the gondolas back down instead of skiing into the village as there are only 2 real paths; A really icey cut up black run, or a very narrow overcrowded... More

This is a large ski resort which gets busy during holiday time, mainly I have to say with foreigners as we heard a lot more English being spoken on the slopes than we did French! Arrival at the resort was easy if you follow the sign posts and a paper map rather than a sat nav as the sat nav... More
