I was pleased to get here as it was the end of a long day's cycling. Out of season it feels very quiet and a number of shops and restaurants are closed. However there are a couple of supermarkets and enough restaurants open to find a place to eat. I chose La Cloches which was an inexpensive option for Pizza,... More

We absolutely loved it here. The views, the scenery, the people - all wonderful! There's tons of shops - sports, souvenirs, restaurants etc. - everything you could need when staying in this area.

L2A in the summer has a lot to offer Skiing , mountain biking, walking and many more activities we went there this summer for a family ski holiday and it did not disappoint . A few days of inclement weather -but you are in the mountains-we used The European Ski School to organise activities .Jeremy and his son could not... More

It's been my first time when I went to France and the whole impression was pretty good. The ski-lift infrastructure was poor than in Austria. No heated (or maybe just one) ski-chair. And no wind protection at all on ski-chairs. In Austria 80% of their has the wind protection. The place in general was good. Lot of restaurants and pubs.... More

I cycled up this, was great training for Alpe d'Huez - but there are a couple of ruts in the road which you need to be careful of on the downhill.

I visited the resort 18 years ago and hated it but life and time has moved on since then so when it came up cheap I thought I'd give it another go, I visited in March 2014 and on the face of it things had changed quite a bit but scratch beneath the surface and it was just the same... More

Being the biggest skiable glacier in Europe it was an amazing experience, and the snow was great!! I was ski/snowboarding tour and we did it all!! Plenty of runs for those that are beginners and enough for intermediate and advance.

Likes views, small feel yet most things available. Close but far from Alps D'Huez (as the crow flies 6km, by road 47-50 minutes in good weather).

I visited here both before and after snowfall-before there are heaps of things available in this alpine slice of heaven-there are sketeparks, swimming pools, walking, climbing and even a pretty cool downhill MTB competition with adrenaline junkies throwing themselves down the steep slopes and off jumps! I came back again in December and it was wonderful-steeped in snow and very... More

First time ever at a ski resort, first time ever in France actually, and a great time at that. We enjoyed our time at Les Deux Alpes so much that we will definitely be returning! Managed to find enough runs for beginners for us to do to last 7 days, along side a few good challenges. The apres-ski at pano... More
