I cycled up this, was great training for Alpe d'Huez - but there are a couple of ruts in the road which you need to be careful of on the downhill.

I visited the resort 18 years ago and hated it but life and time has moved on since then so when it came up cheap I thought I'd give it another go, I visited in March 2014 and on the face of it things had changed quite a bit but scratch beneath the surface and it was just the same... More

Being the biggest skiable glacier in Europe it was an amazing experience, and the snow was great!! I was ski/snowboarding tour and we did it all!! Plenty of runs for those that are beginners and enough for intermediate and advance.

Likes views, small feel yet most things available. Close but far from Alps D'Huez (as the crow flies 6km, by road 47-50 minutes in good weather).

I visited here both before and after snowfall-before there are heaps of things available in this alpine slice of heaven-there are sketeparks, swimming pools, walking, climbing and even a pretty cool downhill MTB competition with adrenaline junkies throwing themselves down the steep slopes and off jumps! I came back again in December and it was wonderful-steeped in snow and very... More

First time ever at a ski resort, first time ever in France actually, and a great time at that. We enjoyed our time at Les Deux Alpes so much that we will definitely be returning! Managed to find enough runs for beginners for us to do to last 7 days, along side a few good challenges. The apres-ski at pano... More

No matter what the conditions you can always ski at L2A. Even with the recent spring conditions perfect snow could be found at different times and places. Mountain restaurants have excellent food at reasonable prices and the lifts are fast. Shame about the cost of a lift pass but you can't have everything!

I love the range of slopes and you can even ski in the summer right at the top ! It's good for all abilities and it can get quite busy but it's not too bad :)

Stayed at Loup Blanc with Ski Total - chalet hosts, Charlie and Cristian were fantastic, welcoming and friendly - lovely food, kids catered for well; great chalet with a plunge pool and sauna, kept spotless and warm. Just a 5 min wander from the Diable chairlift. Snow was typical Easter snow below 2400ft, slushy in the afternoon sun but still... More

This was our first visit to Les Deux Alpes. I travelled with my boyfriend, both intermediate skiers, having previously skied in Bulgaria, Austria & Switzerland. Our first day of skiing was met with knee-deep snow - the slopes hadn't been groomed & there was very poor visibility. This changed from day 2 onwards though, and from there on the slopes... More
