I use to work at a climbing and snowboarding centre and the boss paid for two of us to learn to snowboard. We spent a week here and it was amazing. Our instructor was great and pushed us to learn quickly. The village itself is lovely although the locals can be a bit unwelcoming at time. We had an amazing... More

It was gray, it was cold, it was wet everywhere... makes for a gloomy day. Trails wet, stairs wet, etc... so it was good but not like last time we were here. So we decided to go eat and forget the weather... we will be back when nicer (and we would stay dry!) Trails are well marked and range from... More

Been going to La Clusaz for several years now both during winter and summer holidays. Its a great village not matter what time of year, always plenty of activities, great food and not too over-developed. The skiing has a mix of both challenging runs, offpiste and beginner slopes and during the summer there are plenty of hiking, MTB trails, via... More

We skied here at half term and were very impressed by the skiing. Not very many blacks but some of the blacks they do have are really challenging - and very long! Lots of skiing for intermediate skiers - masses of reds. Also lots of off-piste - but you do need to go with a guide/group for that. The resort... More

of course we were lucky ! We stayed for 3 days and got a clear blue sky and perfect snow every minute of it. The only inconvenience we see is the fact that the facilities not good enough, so you get quite some waiting times.

Perfect sized alpine village with lots to do for all ages without being a commercialised posers resort - good simple ski village. No shortage of sausage or cheese shops!!

Great resort, plenty of ski runs for all abilities all based around a beautiful alpine village - not your typical French concrete high rise like Tignes or Val Thorens - seems more Austrian. Well groomed pistes and excellent inks between the mountains.

La Clusaz has a good selection of pistes for all tastes. Plan your day to ensure you visit all the areas and to avoid the green run home if you are not in the mood for a slow ride.

Just back from La Clusaz , a fantastic resort for all standards of skier ..Lift paas and access very reasonable , ski hire again very good. Restaurants are all a bit pricey...so chosse carefully if on a budget..if not food is outstanding..mostly geared for French pallette ..we loved it.

We visited la Clusaz twice this December and enjoyed every minute of it. The mountains are spacious, there are ski pists for all levels, and the width of the pists allows for large numbers of people enjoying skiing without being congested. The village is quite nice, there are restaurants and ski shops all over the place, and the prices are... More
