I've been to La Clusaz while I was visiting the Alpes on the french side. It is a small village, but very beautiful. It has a good structure and it is near to other beautiful places worth a visit if you have a car - Annecy and Chamonix. Don't be expecting cheap prices though.

So close to busy trafic of Annecy and Geneva in La Cluzas you meet a small Alpine village with all facilities and more. In non French Alpine style. Great outdoor life in the Aravis mountains. By public transport take bus 62 from Annecy

It's a great place. Activities are wide ranging. VTT, hacking on horses. Totally rad dude! Wouldn't hesitate to return.

La Clusaz was the hub of out tour. It is a vibrant town during the high season (when I have travelled in previous years) but it tends to quieten down at the end of August.

Grew up skiing here. Enough for a few days. There are 4or 5 peaks with varying levels and steeps. Take a trip to nearby grand bornard for wide open skiing.

Stayed here for a week, close to so many other attractions and a magnificent location on its own. Hope to get back here again one day.

Had a fantastic time in La Clusaz with a group of 8 friends staying in a chalet overlooking the resort. Despite the not-so-great season all over France this year, the snow was holding well (late March) and we hired a guide from the local guide organisation who was fantastic. He took us to all the best snow and dropped us... More

La Clusaz is such a fantastic little find. It is a small resort so I probably wouldn't go for a full week. However, it is perfect for a short weekend break. It is only 50 minutes from Geneva, the resort has a decent amount of runs for a weekend break and is a very pretty French mountain town with lots... More

A family visit with our son and his wife, their two children and we two grandparents. My first ever visit to the ski slopes and we think it's lovely. A 4 kilometre drive to the nearest functioning piste and delightfully easy for our 3 year-old grand daughter to start her skiing lessons and achieve a form of competency in two... More

Nice and low key, skiing much better than people think - just because the town is low - there is a huge amount of high(er) altitude skiing - people think that further up is better - not true ! the French know what they are doing, and tend to keep places like this a little quieter !!

Thank worgy
