Very picturesque, friendly and close to Geneva. If you stay on piste there is not a huge amount of skiing and I would recommend getting over to Grand Bonnard as well. There are some great red Runs and loads of off piste in La clusaz. Not enough on piste for more than 3 days for good intermediate and above. Its... More

What an exhilarating day! We are not especially experienced on the slopes, but the diversity of La Clusaz gave ample opportunity to stretch our experience and gain new skills. The snow was powdery and the scenery spectacular. Champagne afterwards was delicious. Highly recommended - and only an hour from Geneve.

We were ideally located in the centre of the town to ski the main area. It is a lovely resort - quaint and compact with everything you need. The main areas are linked and it is quite easy to get around. We had very few bottlenecks so skied pretty hard!

Great resort for all abilities. We had beginners to advanced on our party and the resort of La Clusaz offers something for everyone. We used ESF ski school / very good! Best places for lunch on the pistes were La Praz (expensive) and Le Vieux Chalet (need to book!) and La Ferme for fondue and raclette. Good pizzas at Chez... More

La Clusaz has great skiing for all levels, the beginner slopes are accessible, the black slopes will put you to the test, and the back country is to die for if you know where to go (ask the locals). The village itself is family oriented, there is a lot less drunkenness and messyness than in other more popular stations, but... More

Les Hirodelles manager/chef Jake and the cleaner/nanny Theresa are disrispectful, not professional and lazy. Worst experience ever although La Clusaz is good for skiing beginners. I recommand the location but do not stay at Les Hirodelles. Hot Tab and Sauna never ready, rooms/common areas did not get cleaned everon a daily basis. Defenetely not a luxury chalet as advertised on... More

It is old village. Lots of eating places good shops. Everything is on walking distance. One euro for bread made my day!

La Clusaz is a beautiful picturesque ski resort in the mountains - quaint town and great ski pistes. It's only one hour transfer from Geneva and lots of fun. Very beautiful!

A great resort close to Geneva, only one hour's transfer, still very French, offering great food and attractive scenery. The skiing was good as there had been a significant snowfall days before we arrived. chalet Alpage is THE place to stay in La Clusaz

we visited as a family and stayed in a chalet for 10 days. This Christmas was bad one for the resort as it was just too hot for the snow to stay. However they made the most of what they had with snow cannons running most nights and snow ploughs shifting the snow from less frequented slopes to the more... More
