Beaches with clear waters and nice sand. The problem is that the sea is starting to take-over the sand and there are full of cigarette buds... not because they are not clean but because of the many stones left there to protect the city from the water.

Several nice beaches. The ones in the city are very small. Bigger ones are on the outskirts of the city, there are big parkings near by. Sand is strange, gray one like a concrete.

This picturesque town is located at the coast of the Mediterranean sea. This town is famous for its pilgrimage church for the travellers or gypsies. It is believed that remains from Marie Jacobé and Marie Salomé were found there. This is also where the name came from. Not to be missed climbing the roof top of the church.

Lovely place by the sea, centred around the legend that Mary Magdelene, 2 other Marys, and Sara, their gipsy servant, set sail from Jerusalem and landed there on the Camargue. The church is most attractive, contains a model of a boat with the Marys & Sara, and the crypt is a shrine to Sara, who is commemorated at a gipsy... More

Awful awful awful parking! If you visit with a roof box on your car you can forget being able to park in ANY of the car parks as they all have a stupid height restriction of 1.8m to stop caravans parking in them. We travelled 3 hrs to get there and spent another 1 1/2 hrs trying to park. Guy... More

We drove from Villeneuve Les Avignon where we were staying and it took about an hour and 20 mins. Its a lovely little seaside town with plenty of places to eat and drink. Parking was free and just a short walk from the sea front. The beach is very clean and spacious. The drive through the Carmargue to get there... More

Due to its remoteness there are fewer visitors than at other beaches. There is free parking behind the sea defence at the back of the beach, and also a well used motorhome parking area. The water temperature was noticeably colder than at the Grande Mott beach. Lovely beach restaurant (Farniente) situated at the 'town' end. Toilet in car park.

Very nice beach with almost no waves and fairly conditioned for the family to enjoy. Good fishing spot as well.

having reviewed this location once before as a teenage hitchicker in 1973 I eventually realised my lifetime wish to go in July 2015 as part of my 60th birthday celebrations. It didnt disappoint me, the golden sands and the bullring/rodeo arena were just how I had remembered, but what has changed in 42yrs is the development of the town, it... More

Nice beach with clean sand and sea - it gets busy in high season but there's still room for everyone. Ice cream sellers help keep you cool and offer provisions and it s a short walk to the town where you can pick up cheap umbrellas and beach mats
