lovely clean beach, only had a walk along the beach as it was in November (2012) enjoyed watching the ferries coming towards Calais, :)
ideal when the sun comes out or for a leisurley stroll and watch the ferries come and go.There is a very good frituur beside beach with restraunts across the car park. ample parking along the length of the beach.
The beach at Calais is very clean, get there early and watch the mussle pickers collecting bucketfuls. Toilets near by and plenty of snack bars and restaurants
Lovely white beach which stretches out along the coast. It has wonderful views of the ferries day and night. Where we stayed was in a residential area which may put people off. However it did not deter from our pleasure. All we saw was tourist and French families enjoying themselves.
we had a look at the beach last week and it was lovely. very clean and was quite long. the ice cream vans were superb had an amazing ice cream and wasn't badly priced. you can just about see the white cliffs on a clear day.

Don't miss the beach on a trip to Calais. Very clean, large open spaces and shallow, safe bathing. Free parking too!
