We spent a very interesting day travelling through the Somme battlefields with our guide Lea. The day was very well organised and we learnt a great deal about these important (and tragic) battles of WW1. The battlefields are serene and peaceful now but Lea was able to draw our minds back to the horror of the time with her in... More

I did the 1 day tour with Terres de Memoire, and tour guide Leah... I should really have done the 2 day tour in hindsight. Ive been to plenty of tourist hotspots and done more tours than I can remember but this tour was straight out of the topshelf. Terres de Memoire is clearly a very proffessionally run outfit. Leah... We had a great experience with Terre de Memoire. It was a very intimate tour with only ten people and a guide. Our guide was very informative and was happy to help one of the travelers find a specific name on a memorial. She gave us plenty of time at every stop, and she brought us to a great place... More

This was a brilliant tour and we would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting a tour of the the Somme Battlefields and ANZAC Day tour. Everything was very well organised and our guide was brilliant and tried to put things into an Australian context. It was a wonderful experience.

We did the 100 Anniversary of the ANZAC commemorations of the Somme. The battlefield tour was excellent, and being based i Amiens was fantastic. Amiens is such a pretty town, with lovely restaurants and beautiful architecture. Make sure you put it on your list of places to visit!

We were met on time by Leah from Terres De Memoire at Amiens, We arrived early on the train before the one nominated by the operator. Unfortunately the next train that was supposed to arrive 20 mins before leaving was delayed and we didn't get away until 9.20am. Leah managed to get us around the various memorials to Australian WW1... More

Everything about this company deserves superlatives. They were great to deal with when I contacted them from the U.S., trying to organize a tour. They came through with good information, which proved accurate and helpful when we arrived in Amiens. We loved our guide, Lea. She was most responsive to our questions, very well organized and careful to ensure that... More

This was a brilliant tour, booked from Australia and free for children. We were met at the train station in Amiens and a relatively small group left for the battlefields on the bus. Important to us were the places designated on the tour but also the offer of our guide to take us to anywhere that may have had significant... More

This was wonderful, from our first email contact to the final hours. Estelle and Sylvestre were great and his knowledge of the battlefield areas, particularly the Australian involvement, was superb. Would recommend this company.

We booked the 2 day Somme tour based on TripAdvisor reviews & it was wonderful. Sylvester was so personable. Nothing was too much trouble & His knowledge was amazing. It was like leaving a friend at the end of our tour today. He took us to my great uncle's grave which made the tour so special. Loved the small group... More
