We visited Nausicaa with our teenage children who'd been wanting to visit for ages. It was a wet day in the summer holidays and the place was heaving. The aquarium is well laid out with signs in French and English and plenty of explanations. It was, however, slightly ruined for me by the truly appalling behaviour of hundreds of mainly... More

We went there with our 20 months son, and even if he didn't look at everythin, he was very excited to see all those fishes and sharks and turtles moving! We will return when he'll be older so that he can learn more, as there are many explanations on the sea world, very interesting and which should bring people to... More

An excellent way to find out about life in the oceans. To my mind this is far superior to the London Aquarium. Talks given throughout the day - but they were in French. We spent 2-3 hours there and if you have children I doubt they will be bored. We left in the early afternoon and by then hoardes of... More

The whole presentation was very well chosen. We liked the coral reef, the shark bassin and the sealions. We obtained a good view on the challenges and threats the oceans has to face. We should be more carefull !

I align my views with the more disappointed reviewers. We arrived at Nausicaa at 5.00 PM (after enjoying our visit to the citadel) but there were soon signs that the staff were ready to close the facility at 6.30 PM. The exhibits/galleries are numbered from 1 to 32, but it was not possible to follow them in strict numerical order.... More

I went there for the first time around 20 years ago and I came back with my daughter. The smile on her face is sufficient for me so I'm not going to expend my comment.

It was a great experience and really well laid out and good explanations. There is lots to see and do here for all ages although quite a lot of steps around. We managed to spend 4 hours, just wondering around marvelling at all the sea life.

Excellent value for money superb displays and very informative you can stay as long as you like & keep going back to ones you like. Lagoon restaurant small but good venue overlooking the lagoon. Loggerhead turtle looked sad tank too small but other tanks seemed adequate

Despite numerous visits before, this place still amazed me. It was our 7 yr old nephew's first visit and he said it was "awesome!" from start to finish. The penquins are a highlight, as are the sharks and sealions for me. It is a fascianting place and vast in size. A good half a day visit.

This was a wonderful experience for the 2 of us grown ups and our 7 year old. The aquarium is very well designed and beautifully presented. We loved the little observation bubbles that popped up in some of the large tanks, and allowed you to feel completely immersed in the view. The sharks were incredible; being able to see them... More
