At this national sea life centre they have lots of animals from tiny sea anenomies to massive three and a half metre long sharks coming from all parts of the globe in a conservation effort. The massive aquarium also holds a museum about sea life, gift shop, and café with amaizing food and drink. The sea-lion show is excellent and... More

Nauticaa is well set out, no problem getting around but go early as it becomes VERY busy after lunchtime, saying that when we visited it was a rainy Sunday and spent four hours to view it all. Everything is well signed and there are quite a few lifts available for those visitors with young ones in buggies or visitors with... More

As a family of four, we visited on a Tuesday in July. The aquarium was fairly busy but not too crowded, Entry was €56 for a family entry which isn't too bad I guess. You are provided with a map to guide you around, and you really need it in order to see all the aquariums and displays, as the... More

We have visited Nausicaa about 8 times now and there is always something new and exciting to explore. Recently they have had major refurbishment works and this includes little steps at the front of all the tanks so that small children can still see when the place is busy. This is a great place for families with children of all... More

We went there on a Monday in July. It was packed, all the parking lots were full. Our 3 year-old was looking forward to seeing the sharks. The first view from the top of the pool is really disappointing. The view from the bottom is ok but does not come even close to what we had seen in Dallas Aquarium... More

We visited several times over the years for the children but the whole family enjoyed the experience every time. There is a lot to see and you need to allow quite a bit of time. Very child friendly but there is also a lot for the grown ups. Well worth seeing.

We set off early for a day trip to visit Boulogne-sur-Mer beach and visit the Nausicaa, Centre National de la Mer: Sea life centre with our son’s family. The Nausicaa, Centre is really good to keep the grandchildren happy for about three to four hours with a break at the coffee shop. I found the jelly fish aquarium quite hypnotic.... More

And I don't normally, but this place is different. It's my second visit here in a year and I still find it a fascinating place. The displays look out of this world and being in a room with sharks literally inches away from you is truly awesome. Everything from the column of jellyfish near the entrance to the fascinating aquarium... More
