Great canoe trip on Loch Ness with Terry, our guide. He did a good job of leading a group of varied levels. Lovely way to see the Loch.

Great equipment, witty and experienced guide in Mike - and what enthusiasm!! Even our slightly grumpy 10 year old enjoyed herself and wants to do a longer paddle next year - I want to do the dawn paddle. Would have no qualms recommending Mike and his business to anyone Oh and at the end there was a shower block with... More

Last year it was the Spey. This year we plumbed for a trip down loch shiel from glenfinnan to castle tioram. Much more remote than last year although only one small rapid. We enjoyed the wildness and the scarcity of people. Isolated wild camping was enjoyed on the three nights. All very different locations. Wildlife highlights were the eagles, an... More

We were staying at Fort Augustus for a couple of days (Lovat Hotel -brilliant!) and wanted to do something active that wouldn't take up the whole day. This was perfect - Mike was great at quickly assessing our ability, giving us good instruction on how to paddle properly and steer, and we were off for a jaunt on the Loch... More

Just come back from a 3 day trip down the river spey. It was amazing, it exceeded all expectations. Mike is a fantastic, knowledgeable guide who made me feel confident on the river, taught me loads and looked after us. Loved camping by the river, seeing all the wildlife and eating delicious food. I'm coeliac and I was so well... More

Just back from my Highland adventure. Had a fab time with Boots N Paddles - lucky enough to be on a trip with the company owner Mike who was a fantastic guide, company and teacher. Learnt loads about canoeing, wild camping, building fires and enjoying the Scottish wildlife and wilderness! I'd highly recommend the company and hopefully will return to... More

We've been doing the BnP Spey descent annually for over seven years. The 3 day trip to the North Sea has a genuinely adventurous feel to it, which is no small part due to the expertise and care of the B n P staff. The itinerary is clearly laid out, and the B n P staff are always mindful of... More

5 days canoeing the Great Glen; the best trip I have been on in many a year. The organisation, attention to detail and enthusiasm of our guide Dan Maggs made all the difference. Great scenery and a slice of luck with the weather meant it far out stripped expectations - just one of those holidays where everything turns out perfect.... More

As a group of five, forty something men we embarked on the Great Glen Canoe Trail with Boots N Paddles. We had great fun, our guide (Dan) looked after us fantastically, and provided three course meals every night despite being on the side of a Loch! The views were spectacular and the memories will last a lifetime, I would highly... More
