Nice day out

This is a really fun educational day out for families with children, or adults that like animals! We say a tiger, bears, goats, foxes, deer to name but a few. The surroundings are... read more

Not a massive fan of zoos but the kids enjoyed it. Highlights were feeding and stroking and the monkeys. They had quite a sizeable enclosure and the kids loved watching them running around chasing each other. Took us a couple of hours to walk round and there are plenty of places to have a picnic. We ate at the cafe... More

This is a really fun educational day out for families with children, or adults that like animals! We say a tiger, bears, goats, foxes, deer to name but a few. The surroundings are lush and well kept. The only downside is that some of the animals looked a bit distressed and were 'pacing' back and forth. Also, the restaurant is... More

We took our 18 month old grand daughter here last week while staying with family, one word.....Beautiful...... The parc has an Asian theme, one of my favorite places so i was very impressed with the landscape and Vietnamese house, their flare for using exotic plants and statues around shows tremendously, The animals have a vast amount of space in their... We had a beautiful day at Zoo de Tregomeur with our two kids of 2 and 5 years old. We saw plenty of animals. I love the fact that they look happy and have sufficient space opposite as some others zoos. Yet, we saw them very good. The zoo is set up in a beautiful environment. It was the first... More

There is no doubt that this is one of the most beautifully landscaped zoos I have ever been to! They take a lot of inspiration from Asian landscaping and architecture, which fits wit much of their collection which features Asian animals heavily (although there are also some European, American and African animals). It uses statues and plants really well, especially... More

Specialising in animals from Asia The layout of this zoo is what makes it. It feels like everything possible has been done to not have the enclosures get in the way of the visitor. I wish more Zoos were built as thoughtfully as this. For example, some enclosures are surrounded by water rather than high fences. This really added to... More

We visited on a cloudy day in May with our twenty month old son and the zoo was quiet. There are a good range of animals, in a nice wooded valley setting. Some of the big cat enclosures seemed cramped but other enclosures were better and most were naturalistic. There is a walking route to follow around the zoo, which... More

This is a great day out for families. The zoo is in a lovely landscaped setting with plenty of animals. The cafe is very expensive but there are lots of picnic places if you bring your own food. A particular highlight was feeding the goats with popcorn that you buy at the entrance. They are very tame and the kids... More
