Trying to get out of the walled area we drove past this. Totally unexpected and a big surprise. Didn't find out until afterward what it is and that is made by a nice fellow New Jersey boy!

This beautiful sculpture took me by surprise. It looked like a giant god, flung from the sky into the ground. You can't miss it as you enter and leave the older part of Viterbo.

We travelled to Viterbo, Italy to see the Palace of the Popes. In the end it was perched up on the hill and it looked a steep climb. However there was an interesting statue in the open grass area down from the Car Park. It was a statue of a silver giant trying to break free of the earth where... More
