Nice area, splurge and get a set of chairs and an umbrella to avoid having to squeeze in between all the families. Makes for a great experience. Snorkeling spots are the rocks to the left or right of the beach. Hike up to the little rock point to get a picture of the entire beach and be sure to visit... More

This is one of the better beaches in the Villasimius area which offers breathtaking views, crystal clear water, soft sand and the possibility to explore some interesting granite formations nearby.

Great beach; hard to access late in the day if packed as it may reach full capacity. Beach with water on both sides of point.

If you want to find place you need to come there as early as 8.30 in the morning. They let just 150 cars on the parking. Beach is really beautifull with white sand and turquoise water. Unfortunatelly it is very crowded.

I wished someone told me that i should go there before 09:00 !!! After that the parking is full, that means you can't go there and enjoy the beach...! (unless you manage to find a place somewhere...) We arrived there at 11:00 after 1 hour driving from Cagliari... then the lady at the entrance told us it's full... you have... More

Of course it depends on what you are expecting... The sea was amazingly beatiful. But there was no shower no proper toilets nothing! We could only bear the place for few hours. Then we had to leave! We were two couples and one couple was expecting a baby (at her 6th month) thus we could not settle down comfortably.

the beach of punta molentis, not far away from villassimius, was without question one of the biggest hotspots during our stay in south sardinia. the water is crystal clear and shines in different colours. the colour palette reaches from dark blue over lightblue to turquoise till milky white and we had a lot of fun during our bath in the... We stumbled across this area while out on a walk from our hotel. There is a nice cliff walk from the porto luna housing development going to punta molentis. It's about a 40 minute walk along the sea - a bit hilly and rocky - which will take you to punta molentis. Beautiful views getting there. Very shallow sea along... More
