Loved the clear blue waters and city. Walk around the city in the morning and spend the afternoon at the beach. A MUST-SEE city/beach in Italy!

We really enjoyed the quiet, white sand beach and the crystal clear, azure blue ocean. We had to walk down from the city of Tropea to the beach on steep stairs but we made it just fine.

A must see place, a Little town in a my other country of Europe would be overwhelmed by tourists and overpriced. But Tropea is not. This is an amazing beach. I was here in October 2014 and it was still warm enough to swim. The great thing about being here in October is that there are no crowds whatsoever. The water was calm and clear and refreshing. The scenery is stunning. Like a postcard. I would highly recommend visiting in October when there are no... More

My husband and I had not idea that Tropea was so stunning. The water was like Tahiti, so very blue and inviting. The sea was calm, blue blue and very clear. We swam in the afternoon until about 6 PM and the different colors of the sky kept changing making the experience extra special.

The paid beach service was steep, (10 Euro per person) for an umbrella and lounge chairs. Still, the ocean was beautiful and it was in the perfect position.
