Tempio di Giove Anxur is a great place to visit in Terracina. However, I'm not going to share another series of "wow"s. Instead, I'll give you a few tips which can make your trip unbelievable. 1. Go by car, if you have one. Don't go by foot - it's too high. On your way there will be a nice photo... More

It is very interesting and one has beautiful views over the awesome city and its surroundings. Maybe you can see the island of Ponza as well!?

The road up to the temple is windy and narrow in places but surprisingly tour busses get there. the temple date back to the 4th century BC and is good for a half a day. The cafe up there is not my cuppa so bring a picnic and your camera. The temple sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking... More

Lets star by saying you're not going to be bowled over by the ruins here. Most have crumbled to dust except the arches, which can be seen to better effect from the town below. The views however are spectacular. especially on a clear day. The air is cool and sweet and you can look down on the town below and... More

Mt. Giove is amazing, it has a lot of history behind it. One thing is it doesn't have a crowd of people like Rome does. A must see. The view from the mountain is breathtaking.

An old ruin worth seeing. Build on Neptunes cliff, devoted to either Jupitor or Venus. The commanding view over the town is very nice.

Place was an interesting piece of history. Beautiful views, demands 1-2 hours to see. Place also has a light show in later night.

This is an amazing spot for a view!!! And apart from that, it is also the site of an interesting Roman temple!! If the weather is good, not too hazy or cloudy, the view is stupendous... all along the coast to San Felice Circeo or down south towards Gaeta.... There is also a café, that has a nice outdoor garden... More
