Sunset on the sea, islands on the horizon while the boats come back with their load of fresh fish. Seagulls in the air and sweeping view of the bay of gaeta to the left and can I just make out baia Domizia? And to the right all the way to San felice Circeo. Terracina is below, sleepy town with agricolture... More

It's a 1hr walk from the center of Terracina - however it's a bit dangerous to go all the way by walk, as cars are driving fast next to you and there is no proper hiking road. On the top there is a small info/tourist shop where you can watch a short movie about the history of the temple. However... More

This place is worth a visit, views are beautiful and the history around it is fantastic. You can walk the ruins and after that, have a coffee while having a look at the city below. There's also a very friendly black cat that will serve you a guide through the entire visit.

I've been here with a group of archeology associates. The temple is worth a visit. Quite well preserved, it is on the top a a hill facing the sea. If you are not really interested in Roman ruins you must go there anyway to see the great stunning view of the bay/Circeo promontory /Old Terracina /Appian way.

Unless you are a fool, don't try walking up to this site at 1pm as it so hot and much farther away than it seems. There is a shuttle bus from town! Many interesting aspects to see. Definitely worth two hours or more of your time and there is a pretty little cafe in the middle of the ruins with... More

Well worth a look with stunning views across Terracina and beyond. Much of the site is ruins but there are a few surprises.

Tempio di Giove Anxur is a great place to visit in Terracina. However, I'm not going to share another series of "wow"s. Instead, I'll give you a few tips which can make your trip unbelievable. 1. Go by car, if you have one. Don't go by foot - it's too high. On your way there will be a nice photo... More

It is very interesting and one has beautiful views over the awesome city and its surroundings. Maybe you can see the island of Ponza as well!?
