Lets star by saying you're not going to be bowled over by the ruins here. Most have crumbled to dust except the arches, which can be seen to better effect from the town below. The views however are spectacular. especially on a clear day. The air is cool and sweet and you can look down on the town below and... More

Mt. Giove is amazing, it has a lot of history behind it. One thing is it doesn't have a crowd of people like Rome does. A must see. The view from the mountain is breathtaking.

An old ruin worth seeing. Build on Neptunes cliff, devoted to either Jupitor or Venus. The commanding view over the town is very nice.

Place was an interesting piece of history. Beautiful views, demands 1-2 hours to see. Place also has a light show in later night.

This is an amazing spot for a view!!! And apart from that, it is also the site of an interesting Roman temple!! If the weather is good, not too hazy or cloudy, the view is stupendous... all along the coast to San Felice Circeo or down south towards Gaeta.... There is also a café, that has a nice outdoor garden... More

Beautiful setting, terrific view, certainly it is worth driving there perhaps not once if you stay in Terracina one week or so.

Well worth a trip to the top either for the history or the view over Terracina! You can even grab a drink at the top in the little cafe situated among the ruins!

Having a vacation in Italy includes seing a lot of ruins! But none can offer such a stunning view over the town of Terracina and the Mediterranean. 227 meters high the hilltop gives a fantastic view. And in the evening the temple ruins are lit up and gives a impressing sight from the town center. This is well worth a... More

It's a long haul up to the top of this promontory to view the ruins of the ancient temple of Jupiter in Terracina, but it's worth it. The road is well paved and there is ample parking. Once inside the visitor center you will watch a short video showing the temple in its original form, thanks to computer generated models.... More
