I loved it. you can walk all over and see pictures that you have to see in person. If it's beautiful in the summer I just have to see it in the winter. If you love the mountains, then don't miss out on Val Gardena

We adore the size of the village, the history, the wonderful restaurants...the fact that you can walk all day long and still walk through the village paths to dinner. There is nothing to dislike.

Great area to visit with kids young and youth .. Lots of activities for all ages. We did few hiking days which were fantastic . Lots of choice for food and drink and evening entertainment . weather was a nice mix of sun and light rain in couple of days which we have enjoyed.

Miles of well marked trails of varying levels, good maps available, lots of ski lifts to take you and your bike to the tops of the mountains. Crystal rep, Jon, a source of loads of information on the trails, local buses, events in the town etc.

Selva is a wonderful launch pad for exploring the Dolomites. Within easy reach of all cable cars and walking tracks, you will never want to leave! We were treated to some local Ladin culture.

This is our third trip to Selva and of all the Alpine resorts we have been to is our favourite. The combination of stunning scenery, exclellent choice of walking routes and wonderful flowers/butterflies/birds makes it one of the best.

magnificent views everywhere and excellent high altitude walks. Selva is the ideal base to explore the area and would highly recommend visits to Fasso di Vigo and Funes.

We stayed at Selva di Val Gardena and loved this area. Everything about this valley was picturesque and the views from the mountains back down into the valley. The villages, especially Selva, were so pretty. The summer hiking was excellent.

If you like walking July and August is the time to come here. Outside this time the weather may not be as comforting to walk in or there may be too much snow on the ground in the high parts of the mountains. Just a word of caution in that all the walks that start in the villages of Selva,... More

One of the valleys on the Sella Circle, sunny, nice, tourist friendly! What else do you need for your perfect skiing holiday? Of course a good companion but that is just up to you! :-)
