Again anywhere in this valley the lifts are great and the views are brilliant. ohey take you to a wonderous playground of skiing. The eateries about are tasty and good value. Plus staff excellent, I dropped a photocard through a slatted floor area , a waiter climbed underneath and retrieved it for me!!

We were pushed into a tiny cable car only big enough for two people, then went for the ride of our lives, up to the Tony Demetri Hut. What a memorable experience.

Sella Ronda region is the best one in Europe in my opinion. Saslong with the famous down-hill slope is part of that ski-paradise.

The funivia sent us up to the higher point and we enjoy the spectacular view towards this ' birthday cake' like Sella group mountain. Signage are clear and we followed the path, walking along the sentiers.

An efficient gondola system getting people half way up the mountain. One then takes a chair lift to the top where the views on a good day are stunning. A great ski run back down to the bottom.

I have always been fascinated by Sassolungo, so this year we decided to do a small round trip around this peak - from Passo di Sella with Funivia, then walk down. We did enjoy it very much - it took us all together ca 3,5 hour, and was not very extensive. The views on the way are great, and the... More

Think of vertical coffins or slim line fridges wirh a simple car door on a lift that - doesn't stop - just jump and pray. More like a fair ground ride than a lift....

Great slopes down, only problem is that those end too fast.
