Plenty of eating and drinking available in the square, all reasonable prices, and just a few minutes walk from the shopping areas, where there are numerous shops selling everything from pasta, leather goods and clothes.

160-something stairs to the top. Wasn't crowded in October, great view of the town and nice gradual stairs, instead of steep smaller stairs. Worth the work to see the view.

While on holiday in Riva we decided to climb the 165 steps to the top of the tower, it was worth every step as the views from the top were great, it cost 2 euros each to go in which we thought was reasonable, while we were at the top one of the bells rang it was really loud, it... More

Worth a climb up the tower to see views over the town and the square below. Cost was €2 for adults and is easy to climb. You can stand under the bell but beware it goes off on the hour.

As far as bell towers go, it was very nice. Good stairs to go up and wide enough for people coming down an up at the same time! great views over the city... check the time when you go up, we hadn't realised we were nearing the hour and got quite a fright when the bell started ringing right next... A very nice square. Just by the lake. Nice restaurants in the surroundings which all have the exact same menu.

A good way to see the town and it's very affordable at 2 Euro. It doesn't take that long to climb, but it's well worth a visit. Mind your head on the last section!

It is a good hike up the tower but if you do not have time to hike up to the bastion this is a good alternative. It only costs 2 euro per person so I thought it was well worth it! It is a lot of stairs so not for someone who has difficulty walking or with stairs. Do not... More

This has great views over Riva del Garda. It is not expensive and is a fairly easy climb up the 165 steps . A little tip the roof is low near the top and it is very easy to hit the roof with your head if you are not careful which I found out by not being careful..
