The customer service we have received from this shop has been the worst I have experienced. If I could put 0 stars I would. Dear reader - be it at your own peril that you do not experience the same ignominious treatment. During the buying phase in the shop we were treated like royalty and in time the purchase was... We shopped at just about every ceramic shop on the Amalfi Coast, this one is the best! Beautiful, unique pieces we did not see anywhere else. We came one day and left, no pressure to 'buy now', all were cordial in every way. We came back a few days later, made our purchases (free shipping for over 300 E, but... More

My husband and I were in Ravello and stumbled across this beautiful shop. We had been looking for ceramics for 4 days and found exactly what we were looking for in this shop. Alfonso was a wonderful help and assisted us with picking out a platter and olive oil and balsamic set in an intricate green peacock pattern. The items... More

This shop is wonderful! Their ceramic is beautifully painted and so much to choose from. I purchased a table that was will forever remind me of my visit to the Almafi Coast. Puchased on the 6th of October, I was emailed within a few days notifying me my table was on the way. I was able to easily track the... More

Spent two weeks on the Amalfi and visited a large number of ceramic shops. Ceramiche d'Arte Carmela in Ravello was hands down the best. The designs were the most intricate we encountered and the color options extensive. We made a purchase during the early part of our visit and decided to return to Ravello before leaving for home. In addition... More

We were in beautiful Ravello for a couple of days and stumbled upon the shop while strolling around the town. We were served by the very kind, patient and knowledgeable Alfonso. The shop stocks many different patterns, colors and shapes of various dishes and bowls along with a variety of other ceramic items so it's very easy to spend quite... More

Stopped on a bus tour of Amalfi Coast. Was a wonderful visit. Loved looking at all the pottery and wishing I could bring back many pieces. Ended up purchasing a unique pottery necklace and earrings wrapped in silver. Loved choosing from the color variety.

I had been searching for some ceramics to bring back to Australia and after 3 weeks of travelling throughout Italy, I had just about given up finding anything I really liked, until I walked past this beautiful shop. The service was fantastic - very helpful and accommodating without any pressure to buy. I ended up buying 5 matching pieces and... More

Visited Ceramiche d'Arte Carmela in Ravella during my recent trip to the Amalfi coast. While there are many shops in Ravello selling ceramic pieces, Carmela's designs and workmanship are a step above the rest. Carmela and her staff are friendly and very helpful. I ordered a large, intricately designed bowl. The bowl arrived in New York in less than a... More
