This is a really exciting hike. We started from Praiano, at those never-ending steps on the west side of town, and ended by going down the steps in Nocelle, all the way to the main road and then down more steps to the Arienzo beach. The steps are by far the most difficult part of the hike, but it was... More

The Path of the Gods is a beautiful way to see how people of the area used to go from here to there before roads made travel much easier. My husband and I are in our 70s and made the hike fine..with a little help from my friends. Our children are in their 30s and 40s and did it easily.... More

most spectacular... free activity to do. We took transportation to the town of Aregola to start the walk. It save us from walking up to the path.

Using Cartotrekking Escursioni Amalfi Coast, the hiking was safe and easy for us (60 years old persons)

Really enjoyed this walk, we took the high path and it can get slippy with some loose stone, but you should be able to do it in normal trainers if you don't have walking shoes. Bring plenty of food and water! Also for getting back to Positano if you want to finish in Nocelle, teh bus timetabl reads twenty minutes... More

This hike was spectacular! The views are amazing. The trail is well preserved and easy to follow. My boyfriend and I definitely got our heart rate up walking this trail - some sections required navigating up and down rocky areas, others steep stairs and others flat, easy dirt paths. Here is how we did it. We drove our rental up... More

This hike was definitely a bit more difficult than I was expecting based on what I had read online, but I am very glad we stuck it out. My husband and I are in our mid-20s and in pretty good shape and we definitely had to stop for breath going up the mountain several times. We left from Praiano and... More

They call this the Path of the Gods for a reason - stunning views, dramatic but well-preserved trail and variations around every bend. We climbed up 1 hour from Praiano and followed the main trail 1½ hour to Nocelle, where we caught a bus to Positano for sightseeing and then return by bus to Praiano again - a great loop... More

This is easily the most stunning walk I've ever done (and I've done lots). We did it east to west (easier, with better views) - caught the SITA bus from Positano to Amalfi, then endured the stomach-churning ride to Agerola, gratefully getting off in Bomerano, where you cross the road, walk up to the square and simply follow the signs....
