This walk is very strenuous and demanding and you should leave early to avoid the heat of the day also take plenty of water and snacks and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Don't forget the sunscreen. A lot of the track is on uneven ground and not well sign posted in some areas. We started our walk from Praiano up... More

This is probably one of the best free things to do when in Italy on vacations but you have to be aware of the place. Bring water, a hat and sun protection since it can get hot , comfortable shoes and whats most important BE IN SHAPE, this is not for eders, kids or people with cardio problems. Do it... More

Okay, okay, this walk does provide magnificent views HOWEVER I think the reviews grossly misrepresent the difficulty of this very seriously challenging hike. My husband is 72 and I am 63 and we honestly regretted this experience. My husband is quite fit, no one believes he is as old as he is and he took two pretty hard falls on... More

By far the best part of our stay in not only Praiano but Italy. We hiked from the base of Praiano and got about halfway to Positano. We are pretty fit, and this hike was still very challenging. In total we counted about 1900+ stairs. Along the way we hiked past ruins, farms, vineyards, goats, mules and breathtaking views. We... More

We started in Bomerano and hiked to Positano. The views were absolutely wonderful. The hike was a little longer than anticipated but we were prepared with plenty of water and snacks. Start early to allow yourself time to take in the scenery. Not strenuous in terms of elevation gain but can be taxing on the length depending on where you... More

This path undoubtedly provides the most stunning views along the Amalfi Coast. Don't expect it to be a stroll in the park. You are walking with the Gods after all! I started at Praiano and hiked up to meet the main track. Seriously up hill and you do need to be fit. Every stop provided stunning views along the coast.... More

Maybe it's because we ate so much food and drank so much wine, but traveling across the Path of the Gods felt like quite an accomplishment. We went up the steps from Praiano, by the Convento San Domenico, and it was a LONG way up. Completely worth it, we stopped constantly on the way up to admire the view and... More

Great must do hike...but it is so much easier than Trip Advisor reviews lead us to believe (and I'm 60plus yrs old)....It is a beautiful 2 hour hike...even with a fear of heights, the wide trails didn't make my stomach flip once.

It's worth the hike, the higher you go, the view becomes more & more stunning.... Not an easy hike towards the last 1/2 hour to the top, rocky & narrow path, not a good idea if you're afraid of height ! But when reached the top! It's simply AMAZING!

If you only do one thing on the Amalfi Coast, make it this. The hike is a little challenging but there is plenty of shade and rest stops along the way to enjoy the spectacular view. Quite simply breathtaking.
