We met a couple on the beach today that have spend their holidays in Positano for 20 years now ! They told us to check out this little wine bar. So we did and it was great. We went there with our daughters and had 2 different pasta's as primi and a fish/meat plate as secondi and it was just... More

We were in this little restaurant a few back. We were staying in Priano. Our friends had found this place on their last trip to Italy. It has a great atmosphere very welcoming. The food was amazing. The owner Gennaro just cooked up what was fresh and served it. We went back 3 or 4 times for dinner and most... More

Vivaro is a great food experience: the owner is the chef, he cooks basically by himself all the food. There is no menu, he will just ask you what you like/dislike so he can cook something for you.The atmosphere is very cozy, not a fancy place but very warm and familiar. We paid 90 euros for 2 persons, wine included ( 1... The title says it all. This was absolutely amazing food. We booked based on prior reviews and were not disappointed. We simply picked seafood or meat and the colpur of the wine and the chef/manager/best multi tasker around did the rest. Trust him. Price wise I think it came out about 40-50 euros per person. We will definitely fo back.

We dined at Vivaro Wine Bar afoul of years ago and were keen to take friends there on our return to Praiano. Admittedly we we're worried that it would not be as good but were not disappointed. When we popped in to book our table, we were told by a worried Genarro that there was no menu... Excellent we thought.... More

Vivaro was recommended to us by many people in Praiano including my friends Giavanni and Pepe. Gennaro was the consummate host and took great care of us! If you go to the Amalfi coast and the Praiano area you must visit Vivaro.

Great little place with wonderful service. Small restaurant, but some of the best food and wine we had on our trip. Trust the chef and don't ask for a menu, he won't disappoint. Multiple locals said this is the place to go.

This little spot was recommended to us by our hotel and we loved it! Just tell him what kind of dish you want and he makes something for you! Delicious wine and food! Loved the owner!!!
