Description: This stretch of coastline has often been described as the most beautiful...
This stretch of coastline has often been described as the most beautiful in the entire Mediterranean. One afther another, green and rocky mountainsp lunge dramatically into the mediterranean blue sea. The famouse Amalfi Coast road clings to the mountainsides revealing a succession of picturebook wiews each seemingly more stunning than the one before. Not so many years ago much of this coast was only accessible by boat. Now it is a fashionable resort area which retains the charm of past times.

Spent an afternoon on this delightful beach. The sand is volcanic, so not exactly a picture-postcard beach, but it is a good size and offers the choice of a few places to eat. Pay 5 Euros each per sunbed and you are entitled to use toilet facilities and changing sheds. Lunch is very cheap and perfectly good. A beer, cocktail... More

A nice variation to the crowded and busy Positano Beach. Very easy to get to by walking, but difficult if you have any limitations or have a stroller.

We stopped here on the way to Almalfi for the day on the local bus, great little spot to swim more room than Almalfi, beach is pebbles, not sand but dont let that stop you, water was very clear.

This little treasure is a walk from the main drag of Positano, but worth it if you are able. There are chairs to rent with umbrella, 5 euro in May, a few restaurAnts with facilities. The water is crystal clear and while you are floating you can gaze back at the cliffs. We sat in front of and ate at... More

It's not like the regular sand beaches. It's a mix of sand and pebbles. However what makes it amazing is the weather. We had been there when it was slightly cloudy and a bit windy without much crowd. It was worth experiencing this place under such conditions It's a great place to relax, enjoy the weather and have a drink... More

A nice if rocky beach.Guido and his staff at the cafe rent the chairs, pour the drinks, prepare the tasty food (5 euro for a great big panini), bring it to your lounge chair, and provide a free water taxi ride back to Spiagga grande all with great humor and friendlyness. A great experience

You make arrangements for your stay to have your chairs reserved on the beach. The food at the restaurant on the beach was excellent.

There are restaurants on the beach and they are good -- Really like La Cambusa the best after trying all three---returned there 3 times (!). Fun to see every one arriving and enjoying Positano

We stopped here every afternoon during our stay in Positano. This beach was small, not crowded, beautiful views, and had great amenities. Make sure you have a bite to eat and drink at Bagni Da Ferdinando, a friendly family-run spot!

This small, rocky beach is about a ten minute walk from the main beach - Spaggia Del Fornillo. There is a friendly beach bar and four restaurants. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be hired for 8 €. What could be better than relaxing on this quiet beach in bright sunshine, gazing out to sea whilst drinking a tasty cocktail?
