One of the most beautiful places along the Amalfi Coast! The restaurants and shops are nice and it's a wonderful day trip and even better for overnight stays

Spiaggia Grande is Positano's main beach and offers something for everybody ( except for those who have to have pure white sand between their toes!) From the restaurants and shops, the boardwalks stretch toward the water, bisecting the different chair hire zones. To the right hand side of the beach is the free area, where you can lay your towel... More

This is the big beach in Positano, not really a great swimming beach but a nice place to just hang out at a seaside restaurant and enjoy the ocean views. It's also steps away from the beautiful Santa Maria Assunta church.

The Spiaggia Grande is a very rocky beach at the base of Positano. I know all the European beaches seem to be this way, but I would rather stay by a beautiful pool and see the view than fight the stones under my feet. There were lots of flies for some reason, which made it even more annoying! You have... More

Spiaggia grande is a large beach right in the main part of Positano. There are numerous restaurants and shops behind the beach and a dock where ferries to Capri and other islands can take you. You can rent a beach chair, umbrella and towel for about 10-12 euros for the day. If you want a less hectic environment the beach... More

Pleasant surroundings with lots of cafes, shops and wine bars. Sit back and watch tourists wonder past with a Campari n soda... Prego

I absolutely loved this part of positano. The view for me was breathtaking. We chilled on the beach with our lemoncello gelato. I bought a lovely painting from Rafaelle. It was an oil painting, a lovely memory of the place and much cheaper than the shops.

This is the main beach and has easier access. But is somehow less picturesque than smaller beaches around. Bigger boats come in and out at all time.

This is a very crowded beach and probably the biggest in Positano. There are enough activities to keep you busy, if not you could just go for a swim and lie on the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. If you prefer a quieter small beach, there are two more nearby.
