We took a half day in Positano and grabbed a couple of sun beds while enjoying the pebbly beach and incredible views of Positano behind us. Even if you are hard to please, the views of the town behind you are amazing. Just the landscape alone makes this place a must see! I wouldn't recommend much more than a day... More

As Positano itself an expensive crowded place this beach is no different. Parking was 25 EUR for the day, not worth it.

Although still stunningly beautiful, this beach is very expensive abc also really crowded as it's the main beach in the centre if town. It's also situated next to the main port if boats to Capri/Amalfi. Not exactly peaceful

A cheery family atmosphere on a clean pebbly beach with the vibrant sounds of Positano in the background. Take a swim here on a Sunday morning with the bells chiming from the church on the edge of the beach. Then go and see the church with the cute kids giving printed information on the wonderful history of this church and... More

12.50 Euros for a chair on this main stretch of beach on Positano, but the views looking back at the city are breathtaking! Typical rocky European beach, but the Mediterranean water was wonderful.

Sun bathing, people watching, swimming, relaxing....all of these can be done on Spiaggia grande but why bother when there is a far nicer beach, less crowded and just a far better place to be is only a 10 minute walk away. Sure, its obvious to just go here as its the first thing you see when you arrive by boat... More

Nothing much to write home about here. It's a lovely beach although busier and pricier than some of the smaller beaches. Chairs and umbrellas all in good shape and there are shower facilities as well. We had a good day here.

One of the largest beaches on the Amalfi coast. Great for people watching - although it can get really overcrowded on holidays.

Great beach for lounging with one of Italy's prettiest towns surrounding you. It's worth paying for a lounger and parasol, much more comfortable that way.

The pebble beach will give you a decent and painful foot massage, so remember to wear your flip flops to the water's edge. If you have reef walkers, it will be even easier to dive in. If you dive under as the shore wave crashes, you can hear the grinding of the rocks. I went to the public area as... More
