Very beautiful hotel with lots of charm. Rooms are simply gorgeous and the hotel staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. Lovely restaurant where we ate on our first night. Superb location right in the very heart of Positano. Nothing to fault this place and would love to come back next year. Top marks to Hotel Palazzo Murat - we loved... More

If you want to spend big bucks for sitting under an orange tree, this is the spot for you. The meal was just mediocre at best. We had the zucchini flower risotto that was horrible! Truly disappointing! The server disappeared after he served us. We felt that there wasn't any value to the dinner -- the disappearing waiter ruined that... More

wonderful scenery, dining under the stars; excellent food and attentive service--a special plus in that it is not so far down the path to make the return trip back up to the street exhausting!

Beautiful dinner in the evening in lovely setting, the food was lovely... I don't eat fish but fancied something different and the chef accommodated my request - service was very good and prices were reasonable

We loved this beautiful hotel. It's grounds are extremely charming and romantic, and its location is superb. You're in the heart of Positano, which can be good and bad. Close to all the shops and restaurants, but also surrounded by tourists, though the hotel feels like a quiet oasis of beauty. My only gripe is that for one evening, there... More

We loved our three nights at Palazzo Murat. Ideally located in the centre of shops and restaurants in Positano and also very close to beach - only a short walk to port for boat trips to Capri etc. whereas many hotels are LONG walks from the beach - all uphill! The staff were very friendly and helpful also.

We also noticed the pretty courtyard as we passed by many times on a recent week in Positano as it lies on the main "street" from the pier up to one of the main intersections in town. We dropped in for dinner one evening and had a very good dining experience. The food matched the ambiance well in terms of... More
