When you walk along the main streets of Positano, you'll eventually come to an area with lots of people milling about looking through into what looks like an enchanted garden - that is Palazzo Murat. Well worth having lunch here if you can do it - or even just walking in their gardens.

A "must eat" spot when in Positano. Gorgeous, romantic courtyard setting. Service is refined and perfected. Give yourself a full 3 hours, and indulge in the tasting menu. Received a Michelin Star for good reason. Guaranteed you will fall in love with whomever you take there- or if you're married, fall in love all over again. That's Amore!

We discovered Palazzo Murat during our first walk through town and booked for dinner that night. The surrounds are gorgeous and the food is great, although fairly expensive.

What a place! Please stop for a short visit, even for drink. Lovely garden, calm and quite, shady and what a collection of blossom and plants. Amazing service and ambiance. It was a short visit but I enjoyed every second of it.

We took a day trip to Positano and we were looking for a place to have lunch. We were fortunate enough to come across this hidden gem. Lovely garden setting and so serene and quiet. We enjoyed a refreshing glass of chilled white wine and freshly grilled fish. Service was also very nice. A nice treat away from all the... More

Went to this fab restaurant on Thursday - our 2nd last night in Positano. It was recommended by a friend and it was truly fabulous - set in beautiful gardens - our table was under a lime tree! Vito and his team do an amazing job - food was delicious and service impeccable. It is quite formal for a holiday... More

Lovely place just above the beach at Postiano, behind the church. The AC in our first room didn't work and they had to switch us. Other than that, no complaints.

A lovely setting away from the crowds. A beautiful garden setting with great food. Plenty of local dishes. Excellent local wine list. Moderately expensive but well worth it. Good bang for buck. Service was lacking a little, and it wasn't all that busy. But don't let the service hold you back, it's still a great restaurant.

I did not stay nor eat at the hotel, given the high prices but the garden restaurant looked so inviting. Imagine dining under the canopies of lush greenery during the day, and surrounded by candle light for night dining. The hotel interior is gorgeous...simple, elegant and since it was once a monastery, the architecture was severe but attractively so. The doors... More

Stumbled upon this place for lunch one day while in Positano. We sat outside in the courtyard garden surrounded by lemon trees. Such a pretty setting. About three times, we saw lemons drop right from the trees. They were huge! Since we ate lunch at a sort of an "off-hour", the place wasn't crowded but there were definitely a fair... More
